I cannot recommend Amanda of Bangalow Recovery Massage highly enough. Following double lower leg lipoextraction surgery to treat my stage 1-2 lipeodema, I needed Manual Lymph Drainage massage on a regular basis. I have been visiting other therapists in the area for some time, but Amanda - by far - outweighs their experience, knowledge and expertise.My first visit was only four days post surgery. Feeling incredibly faint and weak - I actually fainted en route - my husband questioned my eagerness to see her, but the relief her massage provided was immeasurable and I believe set me on the road to a good recovery.I was nervous about seeing her so soon after surgery, but I needn’t have been. She was so calm and welcoming. Amanda helped me take my compression stockings off - very carefully. And she even helped me change some of my dressings. I was amazed and so very grateful. She provided me with links to her You Tube self-care videos and this has helped me continue my healing at home, providing instant relief from swelling and pain in between appointments. I cannot wait for my next appointment with her!

Amanda is well versed in lymphatic drainage, and I should know I am a lymphatic drainage practitioner. She is up too date with developments in the field. And in addition, has a caring kind personality, efficient with bookings, lovely studio and gives a Hicaps contribution.
