Fifth Season Landscapes

We engaged Fifth Season for landscape design with a view to get them to do the construction as well. At first we were impressed but when the initial design came back at twice the original budget we weren’t happy. After explaining this and asking for a design that met the brief and budget, they seemed to lose interest and recommended a half baked solution which was still 50% over budget.After a few unsuccessful attempts, we decided to part ways and pick elements off the design, evolve it and coordinate trades ourselves. Yes it’s more effort, and yes you expect to pay a premium by going to one company to do it all, but drastically lifting prices and asking for double? No thanks.

Fifth Season we’re exceptionally professional through the whole design and build process. They listened to my needs, wants and tastes and came up with a really good design. The build was complicated and they discovered unexpected issues but it was managed exceptionally well and I was communicated with along the way. Management, trade specialists and general on site staff were great. I am very pleased with the outcome. Not the cheapest around but would definitely recommend for both peace of mind that’s it is done properly and quality of design and outcome.

One was redesigning the properties entire garden, and secondly putting in a pool and shade structure over our courtyard.
