If you’re looking to play a sport where you have expenses through the roof, no support, unprofessionalism and are made to feel bad about yourself - then THIS IS THE CLUB FOR YOU.It is very evident that they are just in it to make money and have no real care for the sport or community.Training - what training?Organisation- what organisation?Fair play - what fair play?The kind of club that promotes exclusion by making the quiet players sit on bench (even though they never missed a practice) while the ‘popular’ players get to play their favourite positions each and every game (never sitting out - never turned up to trained - yet idolised).They place players in divisions based on friendship groups; not talent and effort.The ‘boys club’ got the best teams and divisions and time slots and gear - while some of the more talented and harder working (yet unknown players) got the worst teams - equipment - support etc.The location, clubhouse and fields are below parr - and will continue to be without proper management (someone the club lacks despite its many figureheads).Overall I believe this horrid, unprofessional, unfair, unenjoyable club deserves a whole 1 star - and it’s clear why over half of my team will not be returning next year (a fact which the President of the club refused to listen to because it bruised his poor ego).Good luck West’s - and best of luck to any poor souls who get roped in.

Awesome Baseball Ground

The WDBBC is a baseball club located in Darra, Queensland, that participates in the Greater Brisbane League competition and the Brisbane West competition. They won the A-Grade premiership in 1983. In the Greater Brisbane League 2008 - 09, they finished last on the Southside. In the 2009- 10 they finished the season 4th and defeated Surfers Paradise, Redcliffe Padres and Winfsor Royals in the finals to become premiers.

Great club, friendly coaches, great fields. The club has made heaps of improvements in the last year. The baseball Academy is excellent. Any kid wanting to learn how to play baseball will be welcome and will learn the game we all love.

Good hobby for the kids to take up.

Nice fields. Bring shade and chairs.

Great grounds, plenty of shade for parents.
