I've been going to Alteration Bar Moorabin for a number of years and they are the best bang for buck alterations I've found in Melbourne. Quick turnaround and reliable. Would recommend.

Worst experience ever. I took two brand new trousers to alter and it took me three trips back and forth due to incorrect stitching. The trousers are still not stitched correctly. one of the pants was damaged by them and the lady did not take the responsibility for it, instead told me I got a brand new damaged trousers (I checked twice before giving them for alteration) would not suggest going to this place as they are a rip off and they will damage your clothes instead of doing what you ask for.

Brought my Suit to get altered on the 5th of November, 2019. I was told I can pick it up the following Tuesday (12th). Due to work I was unable to pick it up. I've come today 17th of November as it was my only day off, to find out that my suit isn't here. 10 minutes later the guy tells us that my suit is at DFO Essendon. They wanted to drive all the way to Essendon to pic it up. I refused and told them that I was not going to drive there. We waited almost 2hrs for them to drop it off to find out that they did not alter my pants. To say that I am unhappy is an understatement.

I won’t go back there .. really difficult to deal with husband and worst with wife .. I took 3 pairs of pants to be altered , take up the hem .. and because the 3rd pant was wide , it was too much work and didn’t take up the hem correctly.. it was still far too long for me to even wear with heels .. and when I went back to complain, was told to pay an extra $15 on top of what I paid .. and walked off in disgust… knowing was ripped off … never never never will go back .. they are greedy and very bad customer service … beware!!! Go somewhere else !!
