We had a big project done by Ultimate Kitchens and Bathrooms - en-suite, powder room, kitchen and laundry. We are thrilled with the results and have had many compliments from friends and family. The whole process was seamless - from the design done by Beata, the project management of Tim and the friendly, obliging and excellent tradesmen. Nothing was too much trouble. We lived in the house during the renovation which we thought might be a problem, but floor protection was laid down, plastic dust curtains were hung up and at the end of every working day, all the dusty mess was swept up. She was brilliant and a joy to work with.The Covid lockdowns interrupted our renovation and when everything re-opened the building industry was under enormous pressure but our Project Manager, Trent, was fantastic. He kept us updated as to what was happening and when.All the tradesmen without exception were terrific to work with and any problems that arose, which were few, were quickly resolved by Trent. We were delighted with the professionalism and expertise displayed by Ultimate Kitchens and Bathrooms in the end to end process of renovating our bathroom and separate toilet. We commenced in early May 2021 with Stephanie (Senior Designer) who provided us with a number of design options while carefully taking into account our requirements. On completion of design drawings Stephanie then supported us with the selection of tiles, fittings and other accessories for both rooms. She provided outstanding knowledge, experience and access to expert suppliers while maintaining updates and timely communication in relation to next steps. Once technical plans were cemented we were appointed a Project Manager who was responsible for the timely scheduling of all trades while keeping us aware of any issues that needed our involvement. Ernie was an engaged and experienced Manager who came to understand our requirements very quickly. Unfortunately Covid 19 and the health protocols introduced delayed the commencement of the project. Once trades were allowed to enter households we recommenced the reno with the demolition of the existing rooms. Clearly Ultimate were facing a number of issues given delays and access to trade and supplies. We were understanding of their position and worked with them to make the most of a difficult time. We were appointed another Manager in order for Ultimate to address their backlogs and to defray workloads. Ash took control of the project in October and with it brought a sense of urgency to completing the project. Every trade that was introduced to the project brought a clear understanding of their individual roles and executed their tasks with expertise and precision in a timely fashion. At times we were confronted with a number of issues which were addressed immediately and after consultation all problems were resolved to our satisfaction. We were always advised as to scheduled trades and always kept current with daily changes by Ash. We commend Ultimate on their commitment to safety and compliance with important processes including protection of flooring/carpets and the collection and removal of rubbish over the life of the project. The reno finished in early Feb 2022 to a standard that we were completely delighted with. Our sincere thanks to the entire team involved in the project and to Ultimate generally for delivering beyond our expectations in every detail. We recently completed our en-suite renovation with Ultimate. We could not be any happier with them. The entire process from initial consultation to project completion was outstanding. All Ultimate’s trades people were extremely polite, professional and meticulous. We were assigned Brad as our Project Manager.He was highly efficient, very communicative throughout each project stage and always returned our phone calls/text message in a timely manner. Given our high level of satisfaction, we will be re-engaging Ulitimate to design and renovate our main bathroom in the near future. Yes, there are cheaper kitchen and bathroom renovation businesses out there but you get what you pay for. If you want a top quality job with piece of mind from start to end then Ultimate is the perfect choice

We are THRILLED with our renovated kitchen and bedroom. Ultimate Kitchens was terrific, from the wonderful design by Beata, through to the final details of the work under the supervision of the construction manager Raymond. We live in a high-rise apartment building, and some companies refused to work with us because houses are easier. But Ultimate Kitchens took the job and never let us down. They operated ethically and fairly through the entire process and the quality of the design and building team was top, top notch! We were also very happy with the range of materials we were able to get through them, and they were great at interacting with our appliance retailer so that we didn’t have to spend our time relaying information. Wish I could give 10 stars!

I first contacted UKB in late 2021 to enquire about renovating my dilapidated second-floor apartment bathroom/laundry, having spoken to several other tradespeople and remodelling companies who were not able to provide the support I needed to undertake a renovation for the first time. From my first visit to the showroom in Essendon, UKB made me feel confident and supported in my choices. Shortly following the first appointment, the designer Stephanie came to my apartment to existing bathroom and help plan out my dream bathroom. The two things I really wanted were to change my existing shower over bath to a walk-in shower, and to have a deep vanity sink since there was not enough room for laundry tub. Stephanie was able to accomodate these, while being realistic about the challenges of the building structure, and turned my vague ideas into beautiful drawings and elevations, and was super helpful during the challenge of choosing tiles and fittings, especially without pressuring me to choose expensive items. Raymond the project manager was extremely communicative and supportive and able to answer all my novice questions. There were minor delays to the original schedule due to the challenges of working with solid concrete walls and needing approval for a new external pipe, but Raymond and UKB kept me posted and provided regular updates. They also left my apartment clean, tidy and undamaged after the works were complete.The finished bathroom is everything I could have hoped for, functional and beautiful. While they are not necessarily the cheapest option, the peace of mind from having a team of a designer, technical detailer, and project manager can’t be beaten. Raymond and the UKB team were a pleasure to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a renovation.
