Great national park with a few camp grounds. Lots of wildlife around, good walking tracks and nice beaches. Popular with surfers, fishers and campers

Meroo National Park is a pristine coastal playground near Ulladulla and Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast, packed with natural beauty and things to do. Whether you are looking for a camping holiday with the kids, a weekend getaway and or just a secluded spot for swimming and a relaxing picnic, Meroo has something for you.Domestic pets are not permitted in NSW national parks and reserves. Pets and working dogs may be affected (1080 is lethal to cats and dogs). Pets and working dogs in the vicinity must be restrained or muzzled and must not enter the baiting location. In the event of accidental poisoning seek immediate veterinary assistance.

Beautiful area, free campsite with drop toilets. Some nice walking trails and a large ocean beach with a long wide beach, plenty of sand, we saw dolphins from the viewing platform near the campsite too.

Beautiful spot to camp. Totally around 24 sites. Gets busy on summer times and on school holidays. Just next to beach and river. Short and good paths to walk around. I have seen couple of kangaroos around the river. Not easy to find the entrance. Need to get through unsealed road for 8min to get there.

In under 15 minutes you can be at the protected lakes, wetlands, forest and beaches of Meroo National Park. These environments are as untouched as any in New South Wales.Surviving in this coastal landscape are endangered habitats like bangalay-banksia dry forest and swamp oak floodplain forest, conserving vulnerable plants like leafless tongue orchid and tangled bedstraw. The park also belongs to a regional Important Bird Area, as a home for the threatened swift parrot. The popular Termeil Point Campground has road access and is free to use. From here you can hike to see snakes, possums, monitors, kangaroos and kookaburras, and there’s a lovely ocean beach beside the campground where you can spot dolphins in the surf.

Ooooh I loved that place! Beautiful beach and campground. Very friendly people. You can make fire on ground. Parking is a problem on weekends because it is very busy. You can see lots of wallabies and lizards. Soo nice!!

Nice aspect, but lacking some services. No gray water drains. Operating on bore water and dam water. Lots of kangaroos. Cabins very expensive and tired. Caravan sites $45 per night powered but no water. So make sure your tanks are topped up. Nice beach. Showers are timed and there is a charge.
