Murchison River Swags & Bags

I received a swag from Murchison River Swags for my birthday (after wanting one for over a year). The quality, detail and sentiment of my gift honestly bought tears to my eyes. I have since bought one for my partner, as he made it very apparent that he loved mine!Gabrielle and John have also been so pleasant to liaise with. I count myself very lucky to have met the wonderful pair; who are truly artists in their craft.I couldn’t recommend their products and service higher!Thank you both so much.

My swag is well over 20 years old & still going strong. Changed mattress out a few years back & has a small hole in canvas (not even sure how it got it). Would highly recommend these good quality swags

It’s all in the detail ! Where to even start with the most incredible workmanship and quality. I waited a year and it was worth the wait. Gabrielle and John are so passionate about their products and the King Brown swag is in a league of its own. With literally hundreds of brands on the market, there is only one on the globe that stands head and shoulders above all else and The Murchison River brand is now an iconic Aussie brand for good reason. I love everything about my swag from the custom stencilling, gorgeous stitching, and the design including a mega sturdy rain hood and roomy box design. The deluxe mattress is an absolute must have and you will certainly find a magnificent nights sleep in any of the swags. They’re just beautiful, handmade with love. And one day when john and Gabrielle hang up their sewing machine, their products will become collectors items. I cannot foresee in this day of modern mass produced products that another company will ever be able to produce swags, bags and all things Aussie outback in this league. The wait times are long but get in while you still can and make a legacy purchase that will last a lifetime and be enjoyed by your children. One final note was the incredible and prompt communication and detail from Gabrielle every time I had a question. I really don’t know how she manages to get back to so many people on such a personal level. True Aussie legends. Thank you so much and it goes with saying this is a HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Purchased 2 travel bags late last year. One for my father for his birthday, and one for myself, both in matching colours & stenciled. Lets just say, WOW! It is so great to see that attention to detail, quality of materials & workmanship still does exist, and I love supporting people who provide this quality of product. Well I can barely remember when I first slept in a swag because I was very young, but 40 something years later I’m in about my 2nd year owning my Murchison river king brown swag, and honestly this would be the best swag I’ve ever slept in, the material is obviously first grade and it’s designed to last in australian conditions.It’s a super comfortable swag with plenty of room while still looking up at the stars before you drift off too sleep, customer service is top notch as well so if you’re after a traditional swag check out these guys first

My new Murchison River King Brown swag arrived this week, so I had to take it camping immediately this weekend.I have to say there was a lot of good reviews about these swags and they are all 100% true.The care and attention to detail is amazing.The material is top-notch and the mattress would have to be the best I’ve ever slept on while camping (I’ve had lots over the decades).A huge thanks to Gabrielle and John for making such a brilliant product in Australia and for delivering it in plenty of time for my birthday.

I’m not sure which is better, the bags or the customer service. Great communication from Gabrielle, and the bags look amazing and feel like they will outlive us.Looking forward to using them!I highly recommend Gabrielle and John if you are in the market for a bag or a swag.
