Called to place a watch on hold and when I popped in I saw another watch I preferred. Working in customer service myself I'm very skeptical when I walk in to stores as I know the niceties to expect but walking into the Ashfield Prouds store, I couldn't have had a more by the book experience. Sure I wasn't greeted immediately but there was another customers being served. I was greeted and served the moment the sales assistant freed up and it was a smooth experience. She was so on top of it that by the time we had finished at POS she had set the time and date on my watch. If there was anything at all I could've whinged about it would've been the aircon not being on full blast but that was so minor. Thanks Ashfield staff!

Poor customer service, unskilled workers. They don’t even know their product as well as not qualified to remove a link from bracelet. I’m told to go city branch where I got it to fix it. Useless

Poor service, dodgy practices. There was an item in the window with a ticketed price. I chose it quiet quickly as I wanted to be quick. Covid times, didn't want to linger around shopping centers. When the staff member scanned it, she said it was wrong. Then i had to waste my time trying to educate these people on consumer law. The price was not significantly low that it would be obvious that there was an error. It was a sterling silver item and there was a $11 price discrepancy.I believe they intentionally put incorrect prices to lure people in. When they do select the item after convincing themselves they need it/ want it, the price isn't significantly that much higher. A customer may choose to just pay the extra as it's just a head ache to dispute it. Then there are people who would say no thanks and walk away. But then there are people who know it is illegal to mislead customers and ticketed prices should be honoured. Yes retailers are allowed to withdraw an item if it is priced ridiculously low. But when it is less than $20 price difference then it should be honoured. No debating needed. It was in a locked window, people can't swap the price tickets to scam the business. It frustrates me, that i have to get worked up, raise my stress levels and ruin my day because staff members refuse to comply with consumer law. Anyone placed i a supervisory role, should be well educated on this law.I did get the ticketed price. But each time i look at this item, i associate the negative experience i had. And i simply can't wear it.This review is to help anyone else who may fall victim of being misled with their window sales. They make you stand there as long as possible for you to either pay the difference or walk away. This tactic is used to make you feel embarrassed and awkward as other shoppers watch on.

One staff was very rude and when we went to buy the watch she said you can see on the window which are in sales. Those were not good. So we tried to look for watches inside because of her we left and lost interest in buying. As we were there to buy watch for birthday gift. Never going back to this store now.

Today I took a watch I bought a few years back to Prouds for adjustment.Adjusting it for daylight saving is rather complex. The Chinese guy could not have been more helpful or pleasant. As a senior living in a retirement village it is always good to meet helpful people who go out of their way to be helpful. Excellent service!

I've been in this store a few times to buy gifts. Cathy is wonderful, she helped me choose the perfect gift each time. Her knowledge of the stock is fantastic and she knew exactly what I was looking for.

Disappointing rip-off experience, avoid this Prouds outlet like the Bubonic Plague!!Bought a brand new expensive watch during New Year's holiday as a present for my lovely wifeStaff were all smiles and Santa cap at that time when they sold itBarely, 2 weeks later the.watch stopped working and seemed to have some water bubbles clouding it insideTook it back to the shop and they were going to send it to the head office"Two weeks later came back with the "water damage" scrolled on it and I was told that it can't be repairedShowed them the bloody warranty and asked them to honour it and replace itGuess what? "Sorry sir but water damage not covered" !!!!Really
