Well what a hit and miss place. Told 25 to 30 minutes for the order. Picked it up after 23 minutes. Chips were cold clearly cooked before the rest. Everything else was over cooked. Calamari was dry inside. So was the prawn cuttlets. Didn't even try the potato scollops. Looked over cooked and full of oil. Fish lacked moisture. Recieved a crumbed sausage we didnt order but there was about 4mm between the bread crumbs and the sausage. Clearly they can't get the timing nor the temperature right. Seems to be like this when ever the old bird cooking.Not the first time this has happened. Fish and chips are fish and chips. I usually only write good reviews so this experience was bad.

I originally gave this place a 3 star review but there has been massive improvements and I’m proud to call it my local take away. The current staff is extremely polite and courteous, I didn’t used to rate the chips but they’re awesome now, and honestly the quality of the food for the price margin is unmatched. The burgers are unreal value as is everything else. And when I walk in and am recognised it makes me feel like a valued customer and small things like that I really appreciate from small business.

These guys were open on a public holiday in a tucked away area. Size/Portion was very small for price paid but I was happy they were open.

Excellent customer service! Good was great. All this for $17 - bargain. Potato scallops were the best I’ve had in a while!

Chips used to be reasonable portions, and the proper fish and chip shop chips, chunky. Now they resemble hjs chips. And even though this place is a bit more expensive the quality of the food used to make the convenience of having them close worth it. Not now. This was $6 worth of chips. I bought for 3 people thinking we'd have plenty, as $5 worth used to feed 4 of us with leftovers. This is a 20cm container and it wasn't even full. Chips were old, dry, chewy and overcooked. Oil must have been ages old. Last time we got fish it was overcooked too and super dry. Save yourself the headache and drive a bit further to the Fisho. I will be from now on. At least the quality of their food is always impeccable and portion sizes are great.Edited to include reply to owner: so 2023 means terrible portion sizes and inedible quality? I could understand a price increase if the quality was still there. Sadly it is not. Even the 12year old wouldn't eat the chips.

Absolutely disgusting customer service and a rip off on price. I’ve worked in the industry and the gaslighting from your owner tonight was horrid. $9 worth of chips they claim is 900g and would feed 3 people. She wasn’t very happy when I weighed it “who’s going to go back and weigh their chips?”Umm.. anyone who isn’t willing to lay down and let you walk on them.All they could offer me was to not return.

Nice enough service though when trying to spread business around the community and the comparison is 7.50 for a half piece of fish in an average burger. Chips were nice though. Can't beat Just Cod Bryants Rd, best value for money I've found
