Outstanding service! Laura, Caroline and the team go out of their way to accommodate you. The warm welcome, food and beautiful setting was just what we needed after a car breakdown. We'll be back!

This place has a fantastic menu & daily specials. We were staying at the Valley View Caravan park for 4 nights which is a 2min stroll away so was a great dinner option. We ate there 3/4 nights. It's probably on the pricey side but food and service is excellent. There was a special one night that I would go back for everyday, it was outstanding. If you stumble across the squid ink linguini with lobster bisque DO NOT HESITATE TO ORDER!! OMG!! You don't want to miss out.A tip from me, if eating for two after enjoying a day of wine tasting & maybe a lunch elsewhere the meals are generous so sharing a main or couple of starters is a an option.

The food is excellent, with a lovely local wine list too. A big shout out to the wonderful Steph for being such a fantastic, cheerful and friendly waitperson too!

A good 3.5 star hotel in the middle of the Whitfield wine region. The original hotel rooms have been updated to a motel standard. Clean, freshly painted, good linen, new bathroom facilities. No complaints. Good accommodation at a very reasonable price. Strangely, the wardrobe had no hangers but for a short stay not a problem. We were in a family room which had two bedrooms. You would possibly need to be a family as the bathroom and wc were both adjacent to the main bedroom. Anyone from the second bedroom would need to walk through the other bedroom. Again, not a problem for families or close friends. Also, air conditioner was in the second bedroom so in hot weather the connecting door would need to remain open. Not sure what the other rooms were like but assume standard motel. Room rate included a breakfast left in the room which included muesli, milk, juice, toast, butter, condiments etc. A nice touch. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. Food was excellent and specials of the day were above average. Not typical pub food. Check online for current menu as I'm sure they change. We were there on a Tuesday night and it was busy. And rightly so. Not sure whether reservations are necessary but probably wouldn't hurt. Seating both outside (in the garden area) and inside. Good wine list (featuring but not exclusive to Pizzini wines - who own the hotel) and a wide selection of beers, spirits, etc.

This is a hotel/restaurant. I don't think it offers accommodation.The food options and service are very good. The owner/manager supervises everything carefully.It is a lovely place to sit in the outdoor area on a sunny autumn day. The King Valley is particularly spectacular in autumn.

This pub came highly recommended for boy service and its food and it certainly did not disappoint and it exceeded our expectations. The handmade pasta was to die for and the bar staff - Charlie in particular were awesome. A must do if in the area. Can’t wait for next time. Em and Angus

Staff great ,attentive but not obtrusive. Menu varied and was easy to find item. Large beer and wine list.local" businesses given priority which is good. And beer garden is 5 star. Toilets were spot on whereby some great places forget that places are also judged on the Loo."

The last thing you expect in the country is to walk into a country pub and get A1 table service.Extreamly friendly staff and the most beautiful food and wine.I never give 5 stars because I feel there is always room for improvement no matter how good you are but this place was top notch... Well done. We will be back.

The dining room is definitely a cut above your average country pub. Great wine list of local wines, mainly Pizzini wines - who own the pub but also some good choices from other local wineries. Food options where a cut above too although some basic mistakes in presentation

We stopped by for lunch and we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our table.The staff were exceptional, attentive and friendly. The food was perfect. Will definitely recommend to others. Emily in particular was efficient and accomodating and ensured our visit was one to remember.
