We'll set out, owners share in waterway built, roads good, security in& out. Shop and coffee on premises, very clean. Yes I liked it. I was house sitting a friend. Shops close by.

After living in the village for 1year I make the following observations.It is a mixed facility , caravan and cabin holiday park at the front with permanent resident housing at the rear.PositivesLike minded older residents most well over 70. Good local site management and staff. Close to shops and services. Resident organised activities. Generally quiet location for residents not close to cabins and caravans.NegativesNo community centre or area specific for permanent residents what facilities that exist are shared with holiday makers. Perminet residents charged one off fee to use and assist with park maintenance.. In my case over 3 thousand dollars. This is on top of weekly site rent. Some housing mixed in with Caravan and Cabin area. Very noisy and congested particularly at peak holiday times. Workers staying in cabins often noisy early in the mornings. Roads around cabin area and water drainage in park overall is atrocious. Owners requested several times to address situation . New housing being placed in park has not been adequately planned taking into account the age of residents.SummaryIt is my opinion that I would not recommend this park if the housing being considered is located next to the holiday cabins or caravan park. Owners need to make up their mind. Do they want to manage a safe and friendly over 55s retirement village or run a tourist resort.
