Fantastic experience all round. Dave was extremely accommodating and helpful. Lots of different trip lengths to choose from. Will definitely be back to do a 3 day trip. Highly recommended.

Best experience ever. It was fun, relaxing, great view, scary, dangerous and amazing. Make sure to listen and never miss any instructions, bring water, food and phone in case of emergency. Always be alert and careful. We had 3hours canoe, I would recommend if you tried it before but wouldn't recommend if you haven't tried or don't know how to swim, maybe just try an hour one.

Absolutely brilliant! Had such a nice morning canoeing down the Murray. You can tell David has been doing this for a long time. He's exceptionally organised, patient and gives great advice on what type of canoe is right for you (he has a few different options if you want to go solo, double or triple). I was in a big canoe with my friend and my pet husky who absolutely loved it. You really don't need to be that fit as the current does most of the work. David gives you some basic instructions before you head off and it's very easy and safe.Don't confuse this canoe hire for another operator with a similar name - David is the original canoe guy. Great experience and exciting way to see Albury. My wife and I had so much fun we accidentally paddled right passed our pick-up point! The folks at Murray River Canoe Hire were nice enough to pick us up and take us back to our initial rendezvous. Definitely a must do if you're in town!

Fantastic day on the river. Cruised at our own pace with very little paddling required. Pack some snacks, drink and your sunscreen and enjoy the ride.

This was our second time with Murray River canoe hire to do a 3 hour canoe. Really lovely experience, so beautiful and peaceful. This time my 12 year old took a single kayak which gave him lots of independence (as well as sore paddling muscles by the end - always good to tire him out!) Even when you get tired the Murray’s current draws you along a nice pace without too much effort.Really knowledgeable, super friendly, owner run local business - but don’t expect high tech (why would you need to be to run a canoe hire?) so if you book online at last minute, ring to check.Dave went above and beyond when I left my watch in the life jacket pocket, and he checked through hundreds of pockets when I turned up on his doorstep sad that I’d lost my watch.Thanks for the canoe experience, and also for running a genuine, friendly business. We will be back again.

Best Canoe place on the border!

With a group of 15, we did a 2 night paddlefrom Albury to Howlong. Dave was very helpful in the planning phase. Very knowledgeable. Super friendly and helped to accommodate our inexperience and changing plans. A beautiful part of the Murray too.
