I just moved to Brisbane and found that this place does your eyebrows very nicely so I usually don’t go to anyone but these people. As they were closed due to covid I went in once they opened and of course my eye brows were grown than usual. When the lady asked me whether I wanted it thick it thin I said thin and her reaction made me feel very uncomfortable that I wanted to just leave.Later I saw a nice top that I liked and was inquiring about it when I was told very rudely that I had to leave now and come back another day by another lady - May be the owner I don’t know. They close at 5pm and it wasn’t even 5pm. To top that off they turned off the eftpos machine before I could pay and then made me feel as it was my fault that I couldn’t pay by cash.Very rude and bad customer service. I work in a senior customer service position and have been for the past 15 years and this is not how to treat customers. Even if you have to ask the customer to leave there is a way of saying it.I 100% know that places like this don’t invest in any sort of training courses but at least having the basic decency towards customers is common sense. Specially coming from what it looked like the owner or top level management is not acceptable.

Highly recommend this store. I'm a long time customer and the clothes and beautiful customer service has always made me happy.

Let’s start with the owner of Kohinoor, that auntiji is so irritating.As soon as you enter the shop you are going to undergo head to toe scan via her rolling eyes. As if you are there not to shop but to loot.The uneasiness felt by customer make them step out of the shop, least does she know. That gaze follows you for days.Does she try to evaluate monitory situation of the customer? What if the customer scrutinises her…wouldn’t she be uneasy? She needs to stop doing this.This isn’t just me but few of my friends too felt the same. And not only that she has trained her staff the same way, but they are not as good as her in rolling eyes from head to toe.One of my friends was there to get her eyebrows done long time back but as there was waiting time so she started browsing the dresses and she was treated badly by the owner who asked her to leave. This was so insulting and infuriating.I usually go to their jewellery shop and the husband is completely opposite, a nice person.This time I went as I wanted a dress but her attitude put me off.She needs to learn basic manners first then customer service too.Hello Aunty you need to stop doing this, this isn’t your country, it’s Australia, learn to live here.

I've been to Kohinoor several times for outfits. I've always been pleased with the service and variety there. I was in need of a wedding reception lengha 1 week out from the event and the team at Kohinoor went out of their way to find me the perfect outfit and coordinated the blouse to be adjusted to fit all within 3 days.I had really good experience and there was certainly no pressure from the staff to make a purchase on something I didn't love.

Love the Indian clothes in this shop! Excellent customer experience from the beautiful staff. This is my go to shop for my Indian clothes! Lots of options to choose from and prices are reasonable! Highly recommended!

Thank you Kohinoor for over-pricing your jhumkis and clothes so much that I was forced to shop online on trendia where I found the exact same kurtis and jhumkis I wanted at half the prices you were asking. This is an alert for everyone shopping at Kohinoor, I was there 2 weeks ago where the sales woman was not ready to bargain $5 on a pair of jhumkis. I left without buying them and then bought them online for half the price. So very glad and thankful to that sales woman at Kohinoor for pushing me into going online and being a fan of trendia now.

Horrible customer service, below average clothes, expensive and hideous shopping experience.Atrocious customer service. Upon entering the store a women who I assume is the owner puts you through an interrogation “are you definitely going to buy or just here to see”. Any logical person knows people see, try and THEN buy. Just asking someone if they are serious or not does NOT make someone buy. Give someone a chance to see, try and then understand what they like.To make it worse the store only allows 3 garments to be tried. A skinny assistant kept rolling her eyes, another one sighed every time we asked to try an outfit. The staff had zero interest in letting us try on cloths that we very much would have purchased if we liked it or if the customer service was helpful.The clothes were over priced, strings coming out, outdated and old fashioned.Worse Indian clothes shop I have ever been to. Do not recommend this shop, shop online or at the wonderful store next door.
