We requested a driver to be on site at 6.30 am. He insisted he needs to drop the load off at 5.30 am. We agreed reluctantly, however he was 5 hours late. No apology. From this job, he then charged me 11 hours for a 7 tonne load to be dropped off from Narangba to Tugun which is a 4 hour return trip (max) with allowing 1 hour for loading. I questioned the invoice and he said he put a charge on because it's a job outside of business hours 6am-4pm even though he requested we meet him outside of business hours because it suits his day. Further to that, when I questioned the hours, he started to threaten me and get aggressive. He threatened to steal the load and not give it back. He called me twenty times to try and make payment before he even completed the job. I would not recommend mehtab transport to my worst enemy.
