Great spot for a couple of campers. Not much space to turn around as it's really a drive through but track closed.Drop dunny, and hut with wood bench, table and open fire.Byo wood and/or chainsaw

Great spot for camping. 2h from Melbourne. Beatiful forest. Good road. Flat piece of land for tents. Toilets. Fire pit. Clean creek. Hut with fire place. Tracks to the mountain top with views.

Beautiful camping spot near the top of the Mount Cole state forest range. Long drop toilet and designated fireplace, and an old hut for refuge from the weather (not suitable for sleeping inside). A good chance of seeing snow in the cooler months, but ensure you travel in an appropriate vehicle.

Awesome hut that saved a couple of hikers from a miserable night hiking in the rain!

We chose mugwump camp as our overnight spot while taking on the Beeripmo Walk.We knew there wasn’t water on-site which is less than ideal but the little hut was a nice bonus! The site has one basic drop toilet which does the job. And it’s mostly shelters from adverse weather. The camp is accessible by unsealed road and I would think it could comfortably fit around 6-8 small hike tents.

Isolated campground among Beeripmo walk (around 2/3 of the track if you go clockwise loop). Just a small campground but still have 2 fire pits, a table and chair setting, basic drop toilet (no toilet paper but pretty clean). The hut has wood fire and table + chair within. This campground is also a good choice for Beeripmo overnight hikers if you want to go to Mt Buangor lookout for sunrise or sunset (only 25-30 mins away)Can also access via cars.

Great little hut to hide away in. Stayed there in the snow and it was toasty warm with the fire going!

This is one of our favourite campsites in the area. Nice little spot for tent/car camping. It's down a rough track, but totally fine for 2WD unless really wet / snowy. The campsite itself is in a natural bowl, so lovely and quiet and calm.It officially has space for two tents, but the land isn't very flat - you'd be hard pressed to find two spaces! Easy 2 vehicle spaces if you've got RTTs, room for more vehicles to park as the road is a dead end.Super nice little hut with a big fireplace, table and bench seat. There is a fire pit outside, a separate steel BBQ and a standard large wooden table / bench seats. Stinky old style long drop, but all good other than that. No potable water, but there is usually a trickle from the close creek that you can collect for washing dishes etc.The road ends at the hut, but everyone's 4wd maps don't know that, so there's a bit of traffic turning up, then driving back along the way in...

Good hut, drop dunnies, no tank water. Nice spot, lots of different groups of hikers, motorbike riders, and 4wds just passing through. Not the most private or quiet campsite.
