Port Huon Cottages
Accommodation was ok, clean and all things offered in cabin itself. The cabins we stayed in was the first one facing the road, very noisy for trying to get tosleep and if you didn't want to get up early from the noise you will be woken up at 5am. The owners could benefit from perhaps having stairs to the front two verandas for ease of carrying luggage, especially with all the family items, lots of trips from the bottom car park. For those reasons we gave it two stars. Location is beautiful and the owners very obliging.needing

We had a great stay at the cottage,at first I'd been a bit disappointed as all our Motel accommodation through our Travel Agent I'd requested water views & water view balconies & we had Cabin 6 but after reading some of the reviews about road noise/traffic it was probably for the best..The cabin was spotless & very comfortable & as we'd booked in late Tom put on the heater for us which very much appreciated as it was really cold..Not much in the way of eateries in Geeveston but we went to the pub in the next town & had the Curried Scallops & Steak Sandwich which was great..

Very nice cottages. Clean, spacious and welcoming. Own space and not on top of other guests. View of water is refreshing and relaxing. Only booked for one night but wished we knew of this place earlier so we could have altered our plans for extra nights. Staff friendly and polite.

Great time spent over 3 night! Tom and Ling (owners) gave us some local knowledge of the best eats and sights. Will definitely be back! Nice clean rooms and very comfortable beds, bbq and full kitchen was more then we expected. Thank you! We will return!!

River facing huts. You have Kitchen, induction cook top, grill, microwave oven, small fridge there. Room is clean, got electric heated blankets. The one I was in had two bedrooms. Good view.

Spacious and clean. Lovely views. WiFi was fine for us in unit 6, close to the modem. Good facilities in the unit or available from reception. Stayed for 2 nights and would stay again

The view is absolutely stunning, and the residences are perfect for cheap stays with the necessities supplied. The staff are incredibly kind and always checked up on us when they saw us. Would love to come back here on my next trip to Tassie

Great affordable self contained units, right on the water, they even have kayaks for you to use. Perfect for families, solo travellers or mature adventurers looking to explore Tassie! Make sure to check out Frank's Cider as well! You won't regret it.The owners are lovely and will go above and beyond to cater to you and answer any questions you may have on the area and what to do.

Clean, convenient location. Note however, the cottages are located immediately adjacent (10 m) to the A6 highway, with approximately 30 - 40 K car traffic per day. It becomes somewhat quieter at night, but even then DO NOT RECOMMEND due to noise if you need some sleep. There is slow internet at the main office, none in the cabins and extremely poor Telstra wireless reception.
