The natures window is stunning and picture perfect. The walk to get here is a concrete path then it will get to a small rocky section. Make sure you get at iconic photo near it! The loop walk starts after the window it is a 9km moderate hike, we did it around 1pm it is very exposed so be sun smart, bring water and wear the appropriate shoes. Some sections are slippery and steep, as well as having to rock hop/ climb in some areas. It’s doable for all if you like hiking. The walk is stunning and we saw so many lovely swans in the water while walking, loved it!“Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

Well worth it. 8km took 3 hours, we went clockwise, which was great because we were on our own for most of the hike.

A lot of spectacular views !It’s worth to visit.I went on March 2023, and at that time the sign said the Loop closes after 7am, probably because it’s too hot in the daytime during that season.Standard duration of the Loop is 5 hr, but it took less than half of the time without rush.

WHAT a place to enjoy. Take with you some food and plenty of water to enjoy the limitless spots to relax and enjoy! A must do walk in Kalbarri.Think twice before going with kids. Some areas are not easy and it will take around 4.3 hr to finish the loop

The loop walk was amazing and I would highly recommended it. We are old and it wasn’t hard. Took us 2.5 hours. The weather was not too hot and not a problem. Not very busy so you have it to yourself.Natures window is cool but crazy busy.If you can ignore it and do the walk.Amazing spot.

Bloody beautiful walk near Nature's Window in the Kalbarri National Park.Beautiful rock faces of the Tumblagooda Sandstone cut over millions of years, with delightful trace fossils and sedimentary structures to be found!I visited in early May, after spending the last year in Esperance...safe to say I was not acclimatised or fit for the hike. I made the rookie error of attempting the walk beginning 10am, and was very much terrified of the signs which indicated that I would probably die walking. So I decided to have a rest 3km in, once I got down to the river. A goat mother was screaming for her kids, and lots of activity was going on in the water too. Lovely lunch spot!I turned around and headed back up to the carpark after this, instead of completing the 9km loop. That night, a severely dehydrated me (yes, headache and spewing and a little shaken up by being affected so easily), was grateful I didn't do the whole thing! The walk itself was fairly easy, a few big rocky steps here and there.TLDR: Take minimum 3-4L of water, and actually drink it all while you're walking, even if you feel like you don't need it. Don't start the walk much later than 7am if the day is going to be sunny (even on milder days). Especially important if you're from any place cooler than Kalbarri.

One of the best rock formations. Markers and warning signs are place strategically.A great 8.5km walks and a beautiful scenic walk from a top and beside the magnificent river.

We only did the top part to natures window since we didn't prepare for a hike. The views were amazing but it was quite exposed and open. There were flies along the trail but did dissipate closer to the ridge. It looked interesting as it goes along the ridge and then around the river to come back up.

Great, medium-length hike for a morning. We went in July 2021, a day after it had been pouring rain for hours. Luckily it was all still easily passable, if a bit wet on the ground. The river was much higher than seen in most of the other reviews photos. It took us (4 x reasonably fit 40-ish year olds) around three hours with minimal breaks. We didn’t find it super challenging but you do need to watch your feet to avoid trips and slips.
