Had lunch here celebrated my besties birthday. It was so good! We ordered the Taste of of Balsa. The raw tuna tostada was amazing! Highly recommended order it. Best of the best. Love them all… and the date pudding was a perfect warm ending!

Food 11/10, service 6/10 - perhaps staff need additional training to better assist customers with menu items. Both times I have visited the waiter/waitress couldn’t make recommendations as they didn’t appear to know the menu items very well. Aside from this, the food is exceptional and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing food and service! Had a large family booking for Fathers Day and every single member of staff were phenomenal. Food was great and the cocktails were delicious and well thought out.Shout out to Aaron. You really looked after us and it made a special day that much better!

Finally, a 11/10 restaurant on the northern beaches that’s consistent!! Food is so tasty and fresh. Service is fantastic. Servings are generous. Been back two nights in a row.

We had the oysters, crab pasta and pork belly. The food was delicious and our waitress, Millie, was excellent. Would highly recommend.

I discovered that the large bread roll was sitting in a puddle of oil when I picked it up and got oil all over my hands. Oil should be in a container on the side!The chips were soggy. They should be on the side rather than under the fish. It reminded me of the old pubs with a slice of pineapple under the steak.The fish had more batter than fish.It looked like a pub counter lunch rather than restaurant food. Presentation was terrible.I'd been there previously and it was great. They should get the old chef back to get the place fixed.

Disappointing. The restaurant’s interior and table settings made us think that we’d be having an above average dining experience, however the food fell way short: We had 3 different meals from the lunch menu:Spaghettoni with Crab Meat, bland in taste and presented as a high pile of plain spaghetti. It did have the crab meat incorporated which is also light in colour - visually totally unappealing.Crumbed Chicken Breast - presentation: a dark fried lump of dried out chicken breast placed on top of a pile fries.Wood-fired Barramundi which was served on a couple of cos lettuce leaves with the green salsa and the fish placed on top of this.Nothing else, no veggies, no garnishes on any dish, nothing visually appealing on any of our plates. 2 of these dishes where in the high $30s! We won’t be back.

Good food and atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Had a great Lobster roll and all other meals at our table looked really good too.

Balsa is a perfect combination of delicious food, excellent service and stylish ambiance. The staff are absolute legends who made us feel very special. We loved celebrating a special occasion there and will definitely be back!
