Repaired my rear shock at a good price. Couldn't be happier

I am a rider of many years and been tinkering and rebuilding bikes for ages. Suspensions are obviously one area you need a lot of experience and know-how, specialist tools etc etc.I was given the bum-steer by other shock repairers in Sydney, none who took a moment to spare to try and help me diagnose issue I was having with a rear TRX850 shock absorber.After a 5 minute chat and some instruction from Rodney, I was able to fix my problem where everyone else just wanted to have the shock in and torn apart. AKA gimme your money.Rodney knew exactly what to look for without even seeing the shock.I have to recommend this fine gentleman, and hope anyone reading this has the sense to treat this man with the respect he deserves and go to RAD when they need shock work done.Your a genius, a gentleman and a scholar sir!Thank you againIf you're ever down Sydney, night out on the beers on me Rodney. I'm a big bloke and when I loaded my CRF250 up for a Gulf trip I realised my suspension wasn't up to the task. Rod was recommended as the go to guy and I took the bike to him so he could see how hard it was working. I honestly intended to give the job to him when I returned from the trip as I was leaving in a week. He looked at it and proposed a solution within 5 minutes. He reckoned he'd have it done by the end of the week.I went home, removed the shock and returned it to him. Sure enough it was done by Saturday morning. The job was perfect. Just by watching me get on/off the bike He was able to create a shock that matched my weight and load. The bike handles like a dream now, loaded and unloaded.The guy's a genius, and a top bloke as well.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Rod has rebuilt 2 of my Suzuki Rgv 250 rear shocks as I am on my second restoration, he has built to new condition. My Rgv handles fantastic cannot be any happier. Thanks Rod

I was very excited to have my rear shocks taken to a local business in Brisbane for repair and refurb. I'd done a bit of research and found this place through a recommendation.Unfortunately, RAD Motorcycle repair didn't live up to its great reviews. I had a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.After I had dropped off the front forks (to a different company) and the shocks to RADS I continued to work on the motorbike. It was around 4 months for the front forks to be completed. It was closer to 12 months by the time I got tired of calling up this company and asking for progress on the shocks.At this time I'd had enough and decided this wasn't working. I'd called in to explain I wanted to pick up the shocks. The shop owner was able to give them back. They were given back as scattered parts. No work had been done on many of the components. I was still charged a large amount for this poor service.
