I adopted a large, mixed breed dog earlier this year. He was 7mths old and not my first dog but I definitely needed some help. Duke was reactive to other dogs, bikes of all kinds and various other things and impossible to walk even when he wasn't over his threshold.Our original trainer suggested speaking to the vet about medication for him and if I thought he genuinely needed it I would have booked him an appointment in a heartbeat but I wanted a second opinion so contacted NorAus Canine Services.From our initial consultation with Jens, I knew I'd found the right person to help me tame my wild but lovable dog. Jens has a real passion for dogs and always puts their welfare above anything else. He developed a really good training package for us that included not only one on one sessions together, but also easy to follow exercises for when we were on our own too.Jens put in the time and effort to understand me and my lifestyle and implemented a strategy to suit. We started to get results pretty much straight away, and we were able to work on Duke's reactivity to the point whereby he can now confidently do public places like Riverway and be barked at through a fence when we're walking the streets and not react - these things felt impossible when I first brought him home.I can't recommend Jens enough, you will not find anyone else who cares about you and your dog's successes more than he does.

Amazing trainer, opened our eyes to the dog world.

We addoped our dog Kokoda (Koda) with some significant reaction and socialization issues. All we know is that he was a failed ex-military dog, and he had heart worm. With guidance from Jen's we are well on the way to being trained as good owners, and to balance being fur parents v what we are supposed to be for Koda. NorAus is outstanding company, and our journey continues together.

Can not recommend Jens from NorAus Canine Services enough. Top level service and sharp skills at identifying and working on fixing poor behaviour in the human/canine relationship. He doesn’t hold back and points out the issues and identifies a training plan to work through the them. Our Malinois has loved every session is excited to see Jens when we train.

A Super huge thanks to Jens for helping me begin to learn the language of dogs. Learning clear, consistent, patient commands has helped my confused rescue dog who has thrived with the routine.
