Such a lovely little town sporting penguins of all sizes! They are everywhere. My sister is a penguin lover so we had to take the 20 minute trip from Burnie to experience it ourselves.

Looks like Penguin has seen a lot of improvements in the last few years. I have visited Penguin several times over the last few years and I think the place looks better than ever. A beautiful drive along the coast in both directions with great cafes and restaurants in town. Plenty of parking and a lovely foot path for a stroll along the waterfront.

Cute little town named Penguin on the west coast of Devonport North Tassie. Lots of fun things to do and side seeing. Loved how the town was decorated ❤️

A lovely place to stop plenty of options for eating and a drink with a great beach front. Highly recommend the bakery in main street .Loved it here.

It's such a great little place!We loved that the township has embraced its name.Our children loved the play equipment down the main street....and that they could draw with chalk (that is provided) on the penguin chalkboards... they had a blast, and we did too, lol

Wow how friendly is the town and their community spirit.The library book exchange was uniquely darlic, the indoor markets perfect in windy shower weather. Love all the bins last visited town 26 years ago found it busier but still worth the stop.
