Olivet Care - Aged Care Services

My Wife was a resident in Olivet for four years before she passed away earlier this year.I cannot praise the Olivet staff & management enough for the wonderful care they gave my wife, she was treated with great dignity & kindness throughput her stay. All the staff in the Oaks were really wonderful & showed care & concern whenever any issue was raised, all of which were dealt with promptly & efficiently.I cannot speak highly enough of Olivet I would recommend it to any family who are looking for a placement for a loved one, they live up to their published values in every way.

My father was in there for respite and ended up with a “stage 3 pressure injury”. I’ve been told from the doctor that this would be because he wasn’t turned frequently.How does this happen? I was promised exceptional care and instead my Dad was neglected.

Having been involved with Olivet Aged Care in Ringwood, including respite and permanent care over the last seven years, we can only say how impressed and delighted we are with the care provided by everyone at this facility. The staff are so friendly, efficient, and caring that we feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful place. We would highly recommend Olivet to anyone contemplating a move to Aged Care.

with all the bad reviews coming out i may as well mention jenny. she is horrible to the foreign staffs including myself and she is mean to resident. she even made a sign in the oaks lunch room that sayed no fragrant foods!! because we always bring our traditional foods. and she is always favoring the whites over migraints! we are all human beings

i was here on students placements in oaks and the nurse that sits in office with brown hair she not talk nice to staffs. and she very bozzy to the resident it made me want to cry’s. in india we love our old peoples and residents and would never do that.

I cannot speak highly enough of Olivet Care.My mum has been a resident in the Oaks household for almost two years, in which time her health and happiness has actually improved since living at home.Without a doubt I attribute this to the genuine care, consistency and happiness of particularly the Oaks staff, but also the staff and community of the whole of Olivet. There is always a smiling face and a warm hello from each staff member to both myself and my mum at each encounter. All of the staff are regulars and the majority in the Oaks have been there at least since mum arrived and they always appear happy in their work. They know the residents and their needs well and they truly care for their wellbeing. We are blessed that Mum happily calls it home.

The EEN that works Tuesday to Saturday in Oaks should have her registration removed immediately. She’s not fit to be looking after any human being (or animal) of that matter. She is nasty to residents and doesn’t respect their rights and choices and she’s so horrible to staff. and No one can work out how she still has a job with all of the very serious complaints and concerns that have been put in by multiple staff lately. It’s very alarming and concerning that she’s still employed at Olivet. You would think it’s their duty of care to protect the residents first and foremost from any abuse.

Having researched nursing homes a year ago for my wife, who has been diagnosed with a major movement disorder called PSP. I finally chose Olivet Care. 40km away from my home, and I do not regret my decision. The staff there in the Oaks ward are friendly, well trained, and most importantly, genuine caregivers. I have asked my wife numerous times who needs help with most tasks. Are they looking after you, Rae? when I’m not here, and she has always responded with “yes darling”. I have no doubt that the staff and management at Olivet are motivated by trying to provide the best possible care in such challenging times and not by profit. I highly recommend Olivet Care, a not for profit institution with its long, proud history of caregiving.
