Came here on a recommendation. The service and staff are excellent. The cocktails were great. As was the wine.We ordered the kingfish, the lamb meatballs, the cos salad, the pork croquet, the oysters the steak and the tarts.The pork croquets were a little bland but the rest of the food was fantastic.We'll be back for sure and recommend this place for anyone wanting a quality restaurant experience in the area.Well done to all the staff for such a pleasant experience.

Such a special place. Welcoming and warm space, the staff on were friendly and knowledgeable. Extensive drinks menu. Food was impeccable, a truely amazing dining experience. Highlight for me was the ricotta doughnuts and the lamb saddle.

What a wonderful surprise, recommended by friends, we decided to try it. Food was delicious, simple but fully loaded with flavour, could not fault it. Service - welcoming, warm and attentive without feeling hassled. Do yourself a huge favour and go, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious and the fit out was stunning. But the service was what blew me away the most, friendly and attentive without being cloying. The drinks list was also a smashing success. Would highly recommend to any fence sitters out there.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere here. Service was great, and the selection of drinks was impressive and reasonably priced. We didn't try any food this time, but it looked amazing. Will definitely return for meals.

Went with a friend and was gob smacked by the sophisticated yet relaxed ambience and food. Wild is not a place to go to eat, it's for the finest discriminating dining experience.Everything reeks of thoughtfulness from the decor, the menu the drinks... these days I find a useful yardstick for the craftsmanship of a restaurant is to check out it's mock cocktails. These guys know how to pack flavor into a mock negroni. The food is equally brilliant, the craftsmanship in the kitchen amazing. We shared several plates and each was exquisitely balanced. But the best part of Wild are the owners. A young couple with two young kids making sustainable choices for their lives, their kids, their family. All of which is reflected in their restaurant. I will be back next I'm in Castlemaine
