Mission Beach Boat Hire

great experience. was perfect for me and my family (4 of us total). great boat with brand new 20HP Honda outboard. Simon was super friendly and helpful. he explained everything about the area and gave us great tips on where to explore. we spent the majority of the 4hours in the boat and going full speed and had still 1/3 tank left at the end. we got off to a little bit of a late start and he was flexible allowing us to take it out a full four hours and come back late. I have not a single negative thing to say about the experience. it's a super fun area to cruise around and a great boat. highly recommended.

Really great day out around the islands on the boat today. Only way to get to those remote and secluded spots, that make you feel like your on your own private desert island. Amazing! I can't fault the equipment or the briefing and advice we received from Simon. Thank you very much.

Hired a boat from Simon and had the most amazing day exploring the islands off Mission Beach. Absolutely stunning and we had two completely to ourselves, just paradise!! Simon was really friendly and thorough and patient with explaining everything to us (particularly how to tie a knot properly!). Couldn't recommend enough, thanks Simon!

My apologies for delay in this review! - my hubby and I hired from Simon at Mission Beach Boat Hire in South Mission Beach some months ago- and absolutely LOVED it!!! We hired the 40HP boat and went right out to some of the incredible islands and national parks - and had the most awesome day- I've hired boats all around the world for snorkelling and island exploring- and was so impressed with the service and how awesome a trip we had- Simon was so helpful and friendly and full of great local tips and yarns- we hired the boat for the whole day and it was one of the best things we ever did while we travelled though North Queensland- the boat was super comfortable and we we were lucky enough to have it for the whole day and managed to stop off and snorkel and several different islands - (some of the most beautiful spots I've ever seen and we had so much privacy!) and finished off on Dunk and even saw Whales!!! Thank you so much Simon for giving us one of our best days out on the water ever!

Book ahead. I recommend the 20 hp or 40hp minimum. I do though, thoroughly recommend the electric bicycles. What a sensational time on the beach. We went from South to North Mission Beach with kids on too. Worth doing

On Valentines Day, my gf and I were sort of winging it with a trip to Mission Beach. From the beach we saw Dunk Island and wondered if there was a way to get there to see it. That led to a google search which led to the best day we have ever had. We called and Simon was extremely friendly and accommodating. Without pre booking, we were able to meet Simon at the boat he had left only 30 minutes later. 45 minutes after our google search we were ALONE on Wheeler Island! By the end, we were able to enjoy Wheeler Island, Baderra Island and Dunk Island! It was all a dream and so easy and affordable.

We wanted to explore Dunk and Bedarra Island by boat, but not a tour. We went to Simon at Mission Beach Boat hire and got a 20hp tinny with bimini for half a day. If we'd had more time we'd do a full day. The service, instructions and fantastic helpful service made this adventure so fun and easy. Being able to motor around these islands was spectacular. We snorkelled on both, had a picnic on our boat and loved every moment. Totally recommend Simon and the boat hire.

A must do if visiting Mission Beach. Highly recommend this place. Had such an amazing experience stepping onto tropical islands and escaping reality for a while. Simon was so friendly & helpful, he provided informative safety info and maps of all the good fishing spots & island stops. I even caught a 1.3 metre Spanish Mackerel right near dunk Island. So much fun. Thank you Simon we will be back.

Highly recommended! Our family had an amazing day out on the water. We had an incredible time driving ourselves to three tropical islands. Simon was incredibly friendly & helpful with our last minute trip booking. We we’re given useful safety maps of spots to stop on the islands. What a superb way to spend the day!! Thank you Simon! We had a great day out amidst the islands which were very accessible from South Mission. The boat was great (just in need of a little paint here and there), Simon was a wealth of information and nothing was too much trouble. Can highly recommend a trip out on one of his boats.
