Oz Glide

Without doubt this is one of the best businesses I have dealt with. I have had the need to consult them on three different occasions and I might add because of my own neglect and they have either honoured warranty 5 years later or replaced parts I have lost with no questions asked. On top of this the OZglide is just so much ahead of the competition. My van , contents and car ride so smoothly and it should be standard fitment on all larger caravans. Not cheap but Quality should not be about the price and this is one product I am happy to open the wallett for. Thanks again Ozglide for you impeccable aftersales service.

Unsurpassed backup and customer service from Allen and the team. The Ozglide performs every bit as good as they say. I believe it improves the ride for both the car and van, as well as steering and braking control, as I've experienced when subjected to any fore and aft pitching from undulating road surfaces. I'll be keeping this hitch and transfering it to any future vans.

We purchased and fitted an Oz Glide for our Kedron ATV / 200LC combo almost a year ago. From order to purchase and use we’ve been impressed.At first glance the quality was obvious, it’s rare these days to buy a product that doesn’t disappoint in some way.The staff at Oz Glide can be proud of their product which frankly is flawless.Fitting was easy, however a small modification to relocate the handbrake was required.The ride quality improvement is amazing.Couldn’t be happier!

To whom it may concern.I would like to thank the Team at Oz Glide for providing such a well engineered tow hitch, and the awesome communication and information when I was deciding whether to purchase the hitch.Well my wife and I are that pleased it's not funny ,it has made the towing experience that more comfortable hardly any jittering feeling coming from the back and the better handling from the car and ride. The hitch is very well designed and a breeze to hook up. Thanks Allen for all your input I would not hesitate to buy another one should I have too. Recommend this to anyone towing.

Have now done the Strzelecki with the OzGlide and all I can say is Brilliant! I tow a 3.5 tonne Bushtracker and it has transformed the ride totally. All of those washout areas where you would get a shock load through the hitch are now gone. Well done Allen and team at Oz Glide, this product is beautifully made and very easy to operate and maintain. Highly Recommend and should be std fitment on new offroad caravans.

I’ve had the Oz Glide hitch for 2 and a half years, during which time I’ve done over 3,500k’s of dirt road, many corrugated and rough - including the Gibb RR this year (in our 3.5 ton off road van).The hitch performed flawlessly; the ride it gives to both vehicle and van is very smooth. You almost forget you have the van on the back!The contents of our van seem to have a much smoother ride, especially after talking to others on the GRR, we escaped without damage and they weren’t so lucky!I can’t recommend the Oz Glide highly enough. In fact, 3 of us who travel together all have them in the same caravan park just now, with 2 different handbrake setups.

Oz Glide is one of the best investments I've purchased for not only piece of mind but safety whilst towing our caravan.We drive a Isuzu light truck some times loaded sometimes just with the caravan.No jarring great over cattle grids, could not believe the difference having the air bag on a hitch others complain about extra moving parts don't be fooled this hitch is over engineered should last a long time.It comes with a weather cover for Uv protection whilst not using it. Well thought of.I've looked at tow receivers for behind the truck, all great ideas Gen-Y and some others all over seas fabricated.This Oz Glide is true Ozzie invention.For those who say you got a imported van yeap all I could afford.

Hi Karen & Allen,I have just returned from a trip using the Ozglide for the very first time.The trip was from Newcastle to Hill End NSW via The Bylong Valley Way and return. A road I have travelled numerous times towing without the Ozglide.Wow what a difference!! I would have to say that the Ozglide reduced my anxiety levels whilst towing by about 80%.Its hard to put into words the difference but I can only say that the Trition feels like I was towing a box trailer not a 2.3 tonne caravan.Those nasty bumps and shocks that transfer from first hitting an unexpected dip or rut with the front wheels are almost non existent when the rear wheels go over the bad dip.Prior to fitting the Ozglide that shock on the rear of the Triton was so severe it felt like the towbar/towball/A Frame coupler was about to snap!I am a Train Driver by trade and have a good understanding of force and kn. This device transfers those excessive kn of force into the rubber suspension and shock absorbers to smooth out the ride.I cant quantify this but the van felt more stable towing home into a howling crosswind as well.Great invention, quality built and nice to support an Australian Business.Money well spent, thanks again for making towing enjoyable not stressful.Handbrake mounted using a 900mm x 85mm x 7mm Galvanised Lintel from Bunnings, tech screwed to A Frame, will U bolt it later for added security.

We are on our 4th Grey Nomad trip and have done about 60,000kms in this rig. Last year we started having problems with breaks in the A Van chassis and made it back to Adelaide from Nth Q'Land via NT after some pretty dodgy temp repairs. Got proper repairs in Adelaide and thought we were in the clear. Ended up breaking the chassis again in another spot north of Bourke. The welder who fixed it suggested an air bag tow hitch. I had never heard of them but looked into it.Our major problem was the distance from the rear axle of the motor home to the tow ball. It was over emphasising the up and down movement at the tow hitch point and cracking the A Van chassis like a whip. Looked into the USA made ones at first but liked the look of the OxGlide, mainly due to the larger footprint which I figured would make for a longer lasting device. It took another painfully stressful 1000+kms till we got to a place where we could order one. It was painful watching for any little bump but we made it. Fitted the Ozglide a couple of months ago and although first impressions were good, we were not doing any reasonable millage till the last few weeks. We covered over 1000kms over some roads which I would politely call not the best" and I have been impressed with not only the smoothness of the ride

Fantastic product. Have been looking at this hitch for a while now and the drive home once fitted was incredibly smoother. The customer service is unreal. Such nice people to deal with.
