Balranald Club Motel

Clean and the most updated local motel.Lovely lady at reception allowed us to check in after hours as we weren't aware of reception closing times (6pm) and had booked online.Kind and helpful staff in the adjacent ex services club.Would recommend this motel be the only one you stay at passing through Balranald.

Super clean little motel right next door to the club. Easy booking process and surprisingly busy for a week night. Lovely and warm with fantastic service. Great hot water, cosy bedding. Nothing was a problem.Pop in on your way through Balranald!

Very noisy room. TV could not link to any HD stations. Heater would not turn on in the morning..it was a very cold night. No doona, so I expect the owners expect guests to keep the air conditioning on all night ( using up electricity).Carpet was very dirty.

What a friendly little club. Certainly can't fault the staff, both bar and restaurant. Food, Chinese or Australian hit the spot. Staff were ready for a chat and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The board and town should be proud of what service these members of your staff provide. A special thank you to Hailee.

Good size rooms. Queen bed but cheap uncomfortable mattresses. No bedside lights but very bright overhead lights. Parking spaces need to be numbered. Clean. Nice TV.

Late check in on stop from Adelaide. Room was warm clean and had everything I need for 1 night or a week. We could feel every spring in the bed but was comfortable. Woke a bit stiff but the showers were so hot I felt ready for another long day. Totally recommending

Spacious, clean room with all the amenities you need. Great location. Big comfy beds. Welcoming friendly owners. Highly recommend

What a great little motel. The room was spacious and clean. The bed firm (be warned those who like sleeping on pillows) but I found it comfortable. Next door to the club for a drink or Chinese dinner. My food was ok (green curry chicken) but the others where ok. Dont take this comment as an all the time, I think staff shortages is the biggest issue. The bar staff where friendly and the building for its age was very clean. Would I stay here again, absolutely. Would I go to the club for dinner again, yes, everybody needs a second chance.

Bring your ear plugs. You can hear everything next door and outside.As I'm writing this at 730am I can literally hear the guy next door clearing the phlegm from his throat - gross.Trucks rolling by through the night are loud.Conversations were easily heard from adjoining rooms, and I apologise to them having to hear my son and myself coughing at night.The room itself is nice and tidy enough with a basic modern feel.Beds are good. Bathroom is updated, Small and basic. There was mould in the bathroom which looked like an ongoing issue. There wasn't alot, but i could tell it hadn't been dealt with recently.On arrival a flood of Mozzies were waiting at the door to enter the room. This was easily dealt with by some insect spray left in the room for guests. Just something to be aware of. I'd assume this is an issue for all accommodation in Balranald being next to the river.I Would stay here again if it weren't for the noise issues. So for that reason wouldn't stay here again.
