I’m embarrassed to say that it had been twenty plus years since I’d replaced my bed, but recently necessity forced me to spring (forgive the shocking pun!) into action. But who to turn to? There’s a lot of alternative suppliers, so I decided t go with the firm, positive endorsement of a family friend - that endorsement was for Forty Winks in Burwood Road Hawthorn. That endorsement was spot on … I knew nothing of the technical revolution that has taken place in bedding over the past 20 years - a bed was simply a bed to me but after a pretty thorough breakdown of what I was after/needed by the expert staff I was - like a good new suit - fitted out appropriately. I was more than satisfied with the product range and of course, price. I left as a very satisfied client and after my first night’s sleep, a very relaxed and refreshed one! I too heartily endorse the staff and service at 40 Winks in Burwood Road, Hawthorn … (PS: thanks to Penny who gave me the right nudge in the first place!)

Amazing store ,started with a bed match profile...then taken though the prestigious Vi- Spring range . Definitely recommended a visit to Hawthorn store. LOVED IT

The knowledge of the staff was awesome - so so helpful. There is never any way I’d shop online for a bed. And - it’s family owned. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I was so happy with the friendliness and service I got from Henk and the team at 40 Winks Hawthorn. Needing a new bed and not having a lot of storage place where I live, a bed, with a base that had storage, was recommended. This has been such a bonus, linen and extra bedding is roomily stored, out of the way. Great advice and delivery arrangement, was also excellent.

The team here are so very helpful & are happy to spend as much time as you need to get your choices right. I’ve shopped here many times for beds, pillows, furniture, & linen & wouldn’t go anywhere else. Henk & his team have helped me on many occasions- even helping out when I needed stuff interstate. Highly recommended!

Henk and his team were extremely patient and knowledgeable as I tested numerous mattresses to find the perfect firmness. They were friendly and supportive and I am so happy with the purchase. Think I underestimated importance of this decision as sleep impeccably since!Highly recommend.

Highly recommend. Starting with a Bed Match diagnostic to understand our ideal firmness, Rosie walked us through the range and was very helpful and patient. Very happy with our choice and ended up getting two new beds for the kids in the process.
