Positives: Weights area is well equipped like most new gyms. Plenty of space. Don't have to wait long to get a bench or machine.Negatives: Too much space allocated to the weights area sacrificing the fitness class room. If you know this gym from 2022 you had space to workout in the fit classes. Now it is half the size and you will have to fight for space. Be prepared to get stepped on, bumped into and finally give up on attending. There is no layout for the classes and staff do not assist in keeping the numbers in the class tight or getting the room layed out.Fight for your space or don't go.It is getting worse as they increase membership. Staff don't leave the front counter to monitor the gym to remind users they need a towel or putting equipment back in place.Good luck if you get a welcome or farewell from staff.

Such an amazing upgrade to the gym. It’s very modern, spacious and has the best equipment! The staff have been very helpful throughout the whole changeover process. The manager has been particularly helpful considering all the negativity being thrown at her by members that are stuck in their ways and do not like change. Such poor behaviour from some of the members, but has been handled well by staff. Whilst the group fitness room is smaller, it’s a lot safer and allows the instructor to closely monitor each participant. The booking system is also great as it allows everyone to try the classes, rather than the same people taking all the spaces. I love having the autonomy over my own membership through the app and website! It makes it really easy to access my membership and the gym. So happy with the new gym!!

Love this gym!! The group fitness room is my FAVOURITE by far, class are a lot smaller now which is great, lots more room to move around and get it done. Also glad to see that smelly carpet gone, makes the gym feel much cleaner.

PROs The gym and equipment are a great upgrade. It's clean and more upmarket.Free internet.Free yoga mat's supplied.CONs like others have said the decrease in classroom size ispoor compared to the original size. This could have been avoided by extending it to wherethe creche used to be.I would guess that 60% or more members only go toclasses so its a problem for a lot of members. Some popular long-time instructor losses are sad to see.The sauna has been out of commission too long.

I would not recommend this gym to anyone. The recent transition from Healthworks to Club Lime has resulted in a significant decrease in the quality of services provided. The renovation has resulted in a severe lack of class space, as well as number of classes (especially step classes) which was my main motivator for going to the gym.Furthermore, all the good instructors have left the club for unknown reasons. As a result, there is now a limited variety of classes available, which is frustrating for members who enjoyed these classes in the past. When I asked the manager about this, they told me that there were no more instructors available, which is unacceptable for any established gym.Additionally, the gym's lack of adequate staff means that members are left to figure out how to use the equipment on their own, which is dangerous and could result in injuries. Speaking to the managers about this issue is also inconvenient, as they are always busy talking to someone else. This gym has new equipment and open gym space, but the lack of class space and the loss of talented instructors have been major setbacks. The new layout prioritizes open space over group fitness classes, which is frustrating for long-time members who relied on them. While the gym has some positives, they are overshadowed by the decline in services and lack of trainers to assist.Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the decline in the quality of services at this gym. The lack of space, variety of classes, and good instructors make it a poor choice for anyone looking for a quality gym experience. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a gym that values its members and provides adequate services.

I am newish to club Lime. So I haven’t been here long but I can say that the revamp was definitely needed. I know people don’t like change but it has really made a difference. I know others have complained about the group fitness room becoming smaller but for me this is a win. Less people in a class gives the instructor more opportunity to give feedback and make adjustments to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly which I really appreciate. The carpet was gross- if you think about how many people have sweated on that you might feel positive about hardwood floors. The whole place is so much cleaner, and light. loving the brand new pump equipment and that mats are provided for the classes unlike before. The staff seem really lovely, friendly and helpful. The manager there was so helpful setting up my app and showing me how to book classes. I’m sure she has better things to do….so it shows dedication when the manager is helping out members!I’m super happy

Been coming here for years when it was healthworks. The changes have been great. People are resistant to change and complain a lot. Staff have always been great. I have found the group fitness room although smaller than it was, class numbers are now smaller and safer with a good ratio of members to instructors. The room is cleaner and smells a lot better too!

This is my review about the group fitness classes.I had been coming to Healthworks for many years. I joined for the group fitness classes. Unfortunately healthworks was sold to Club Lime. Prior to the closure for renovations approximately 200 members wrote a signed letter to Club Lime with concerns about the group fitness classes. We received a response from a Kristine that it will be passed on but no other response. After renovations, the group fitness classroom is half the size it was. It is now hard floors (carpet before), so uncomfortable/painful for some classes. Only one fan remains which most of the time does not spin. There were four fans before. They said more were coming weeks ago.The fan is filthy and so is the ceiling above. Full of dust and cobwebs. Many classes have been cancelled altogether. No step classes. A lot of low impact classes like Zumba and yoga if you’re into that. I am not. We now have to book classes. We didn’t before. Class bookings open 3 days before. Too bad if you forget to book you will miss out. You are restricted to booking only one class. An email response from Chloe at Club Lime said you can book 2 classes a day but they need to be atleast 3 hours apart. Before you could do as many as you like . Some did 3 classes in a row. They are threatening to do a roll call and members having to prove their bookings.Have already noticed quite a few members no longer there and same with long term great instructors. Some of my friends/members have reported their interaction with the new manager as coming across being rude. Some came early to set up a spot for a class and the manager told other people to take their spot. When asked about it she said you’re not allowed to as other people may want to use the class room prior to class. The equipment is all new - again if you’re into that. But us group fitness members are not. There appears to be a lot of unused space in the main gym area. Apparently more equipment is coming.Yoga mats are supplied but as the floors are so hard you still need to double up with your own mat.Crèche is also gone. The bathrooms are much cleaner than before but still a ridiculous amount of dust build up in the vents. The closure for renovations allowed us to explore and try other gyms in the area.If the group fitness class situation is not corrected - AJs Sports Centre Algester offers what Healthworks offered and much more. Many members are already at AJs. AJs is more expensive but Club Lime has increased the price anyway. You get what you pay for and we would rather give it to a gym that values their members. We are being told if you don’t like it you can go elsewhere.Club lime - don’t tell us to email our concerns. That was already done as stated above to 3 separate email addresses with no response. You never sought feedback from us prior to the changes and did nothing about our concerns addressed in the email.Suggestions so far after renovations have been ignored.Update: sat 8/4/23 - yep, they made everyone prove their bookings by showing it to them on our phone app. Like this is some free class we’ve turned up for. Not a membership we paid for ! Disgusting!

Feel happy and excited we now have a modern and spacious gym in our area. Love the new sled space been added in and all new equipment giving me more choices and fun! Also love the new speakers in group class room and feel thankful my favourite instructors are still here teaching.Has been fully used to app access and website after a few entries, it's handy and I can all manage my account myself, don't need to match my schedule to staffed hours which saves me a lot of time. The new manager was very friendly and helpful, working very hard to solve mine and my friends problems. Reply timely through email too. So far being enjoying the new gym, loving it!

Have been a member for a couple of years, and could not be happier with the renovations! I only do the HIIT classes and have had no issues with class size or bookings.I like to just train and then sauna afterwards and to be honest the only complaint I would have is the few people always trying to talk the new changes down and get me to agree with them in the sauna, I just want to relax and enjoy the amazing new space!Would be good to get a GHD and hack squat too!
