Foundry is a wonderful, quirky and joyous shop full of art, craft and clothes. Most of the work is by local artists. Jill Hermans imaginative and beautifully made jewelry stands out for me. Various makers staff the shop so you’ll often be served by the art works maker.

My absolute favourite shop in Bairnsdale. Such an incredible variety of unique goods. The perfect place if you need a gift or just feel like treating yourself to some good quality. An exciting collection of locally handmade goodness. Every corner is filled with creativeness and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Bairnsdale has so many eclectic nooks and crannies and Foundry encapsulates this so well. Part shop, part arts organization, part community hub, Foundry provides a central point for local artists and small businesses. There's no better place to shop for original arts and crafts, jewellery and even furniture. One can also browse the racks of pre-loved fashion and buy locally baked artisan bread. We always stock up on gifts here.

Wow, such a diverse mix of high quality and exceptionally inventive products handmade by local artists, craftspeople, writers, illustrators and much more from the Gippsland region. From printmaking to clothes and hats, from woodwork to children's books, from ceramics to paintings, from jewellery to photography ...and everything else in between.If youre passing through Bairnsdale, you really shouldn't miss this place. The local community is so lucky to have a place like this.

A beautiful range of art and crafts, mostly local I think, promoted by the gently enthusiastic volunteer of the day, Inge. I found the references to the bush fires extremely touching. Also loved the second hand clothes rack. There is a lovely feel to this place.
