Ovens & Kiewa Veterinary Hospital

The vets and staff at Ovens & Kiewa have all been faultless for us. The care and compassion they have shown towards our dog and also us whilst clearly stressed, has been nothing short of perfect. So thorough to ensure our dog was treated correctly, so happy and friendly with any worries and questions we had too. Follow up check ins have been comforting too.

The staff here go above and beyond. Our little dog has high needs and often needs to be seen at short notice and quite sporadically, they always accommodate him even when he wasn’t a patient of the practice. Safe to say their kindness and care had us move our pets over to Ovens and Kiewa vet practice very quickly. I can’t praise them all enough for their care.

Our beautiful dog started vomiting then got the wobbles. First thought was snake bite. But then I remembered the bee she was playing with. Saturday afternoon!!!!! Rang the vet and left message on after hours call. received call back from vet who was already out of town on another job. She organised another team member to go to the clinic. All sorted as quickly as possible and our dog had suffered an anaphylactic reaction. We are all thankyou to both ladies who attended our dog. Very grateful to have a fabulous Vet in our small town.

The vet and vet nurses at this establishment are absolutely incredible. Nothing is a problem they treat your animals like family. I honestly cannot fathom taking my pets to anyone else. Thank you so much for always being incredible.

My wife and I brought our beloved nearly 16 year old Staffie to the hospital to be put to sleep as she was in the last stages of kidney disease. As well as the emotional burden we were 'walking wounded' having had a bad fall a few days before, the team at the OKVH recognized that we were in bad shape and quite distressed, they immediately swung into action getting Maggie from the car and putting us into a quiet space for our final time with her.We will never forget the level of care and genuine compassion that was given and I am especially grateful because my wife, who is blind, was about to lose her constant companion and four legged carer.Our heartfelt thanks go to all your team especially Dani and Breanna and those on reception as your exemplary actions and care has helped us cope with our significant loss.Best regards and gratitude.Tim and Barbara Farrah
