Lovely range of bakery items with fresh cream available. Huge range of baked pies including Mexican and Pizza fillings. Would highly recommend it.The coffees were great. All at pre COVID prices. Great place to visit and friendly customer service.

Can absolutely see why they've won awards. Plain pie was delicious. Vanilla Slice was sensational even if a little sloppy. Prices were really good and very friendly service even when busy. Returning to get one of the Schnitz sandwiches they look amazing.

Whittlesea Bakehouse meat pies are great, seriously rich meat gravies - the Whittlesea pie is a corker. Their vegetarian and vegan options are really good - my better half reckons they aren't just a boring accommodation. They have take home family sized options too.This place is worth going out of your way for, if, like me, you don't live closeby. Great vanilla slices too and their foccacia rolls are great for garlic bread rolls for the freezer.They care about making good food - so yeah, sensational!

I tried to go yesterday (Sunday) but not open, but today, being a Monday (duh!). Open as expected. The mission - see if the pie is as good as its reputation.Verdict? Yes. 100%. Superb plain meat pie. Worth every cent and the invonvenience of them being closed on Sundays!Superb.Superb.Superb!

The pie that won the competition was very good but not the best I've ever had, but it's the best I've had for a long time. Might just be my memory but to me the pies from 30+ years ago were better.

The pies and vanilla slice absolutely lived up to the hype. Customer service was warm and the food is out of this world. Will definitely be returning!
