First thing I noticed when we walked in, was how bright it was. Full lights, no atmosphere at all. (Some down lights or pendants would make it a more charming place)The walls have wallpaper of Italian themes. The chairs are really nice and comfortable. Soft padded.It was full of customers inside, but too cold to sit outside (there is a covered patio style area out the back, where the pizza oven was going - probably good in summer? )We got a table for 2 in the middle of restaurant. Service was ok. Not friendly, but not lacks either. Seems like new owners?Food was pretty good. The pork belly was tender with lots of kumara chips and salad. The arancini balls were good. 4 on a plate.We had one glass of wine (a small variety on the list) and a soft drink and the bill was $55. It was an fair night out. I think if there was an Italian competitor in the area, they may not have so much business.It lacks friendliness and charm. But the food was fair.

I ordered a spaghetti carbonara as part of a larger order from them last night and it was completely lacking sauce, seasoning, and it was SO oily!!!!There was no flavour and I took out all the pasta and was left with so much oil in the bottom, it was disgusting. I ended up putting it in the bin and had a toasted sandwich instead

Always found the food here to be full of taste and quality.It is a cosy environment perfect for any occasion.I’ve been multiple times and found the many dishes I’ve had flavourful and arrive at the table hot.Staff are always friendly and accomodating.

So this place must be under new ownership. It was a terrific place but the last time I went they served food which could only be described as terrible. The burnt butter ravioli has so much salt that I may as well just lick the salt shaker, and the margarita pizza was so limited with any topping that I thought it must have been a mistake. Honestly it was so bad that a frozen pizza on the oven would have been better.Old review belowReally nice Italian restaurant, with a great atmosphere. The tiramisu was really good, and the creamy penne chicken pesto was spot on. The panna cotta had a good flavour, but there was way to much gelatine used making it far to firm. But still had a god night

4 stars except for the noise.Beautiful tasteful food. They also serve pizza which was really popular with those around us and for takeaway.Restaurant becomes noisy as it fills due to the tiled floor and open space.The lamb cutlets were superb! A slight caramelisation due to the grilling. The sharpness of the crumbled feta complimented it beautifully.The pear salad was a combination of sweet, tart and bitter with the rocket.My friend stated the salmon was done to perfection. Simply seasoned so as not to spoil the salmons natural flavour.

I give 1 star because the meal was nice. Otherwise I would given zero. The service was appalling! The waitress was useless, could not understand simple request. My partner and I asked for two dishes the same, one for him and one for me. She comes back with one! I asked where the other one was - oh sorry didn't know you wanted two!! I told her twice we wanted the same, one EACH! If she had a brain she would have wondered why one person hadn't ordered anything. So I had to choose between letting mine get cold while we waited for the other dish to be cooked or eating mine in front of my partner while he had nothing. I asked to see the boss but he was conveniently not there.

Went this place on a special occasion with my patener. We both ordered the same dish but only got one. We ask the waitress were the other dish was she reply you only orded one. My experience in the passed when dining out that a waitress should be able to make sure the the customer orders are correct. When l finaly got my dish it was BURNT
