Service and ambience was good. Food did not taste fresh. We were denied to take away the left overs because according to them it was ordered from ‘Set Menu’ (60pp) for which we paid $120 for two people and we literally only consumed half of the food. Apparently, they were okay with the food being dumped into the bin and get wasted rather than letting us take it with us as we had paid for it.God knows if they are actually throwing it away or reusing it for others, either way, its not a good approach.

Fantastic place for a Brunch. Service was very fast. Great atmosphere loved the decor.Food was fantastic. Really enjoyed all of it. Fantastic cocktails. Loved the mojitos they were made perfectly..Butter chicken was delicious! Would be great to have a kids menu. For the not so food adventurous kids.

I went to Gaylord for dinner on Friday, 17th Feb 2023 with my parents and my husband, and we all loved this place. We went there to celebrate my wedding anniversary, and this place was perfect. I just googled some restaurants and decided to celebrate here, and it was exactly like we had imagined.First and foremost the food was delicious, the food quantity was great and the menu/price were affordable. :) :) Then we loved the interior design and seating arrangements. The place was so peaceful and we loved the ambience. We loved the service and staff members.My parents even requested one of the staff to take a few pictures of us celebrating, and the staff was so polite and amazing. Last but not least, the lady in the front of the house was so nice, we forgot to ask/check her name, but she was amazing.Amazing customer service !! definitely the best restaurant in Melbourne !! I highly recommend it !! recommend for any occasion or just fine dining !!

We had a great experience here! The food was so delicious, the restaurant itself was really comfortable and relaxing and all of the staff were lovely. Will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend!

Colleagues chose this place for a team lunch. The menu has the usual favourites so we ordered a range of starters and mains.Highlights for me were the:Samosa Chaat - aromatic, spiced and an orchestra of flavoursPalak Paneer - rich, creamy and smoothMango Lassi - they only had enough mangoes for 2 Lassi and I was lucky enough to get one. The addition of cardamon was exotic.The tap water had an unpleasant taste - this was replaced but indicates they serve unfiltered water in a building with aged pipes.Plush and comfortable surroundings to dine in. We were the only people here and there was 1 staff only, so the place lacked atmosphere. Overall, a fair experience but I probably won't rush back given Melbourne's competitive gastronomic scene.

Absolutely amazing experience at Gaylord Indian Restaurant. To begin with the decor and ambience; It had a really casual yet neat vibe. Service was incredible with excellent staff welcoming us and checking on us throughout the night. Drinks were lovely and refreshing and had excellent presentation. Food was to-die-for and the presentation was superb. Would extremely recommend trying Gaylord's as it is a restaurant that I would absolutely return to.
