This supermarket treats every customer as a thief. They search all contents in your bags without asking for permission to verify every item against your receipts. If you bring in your shoppings from other shops without receipts (many Asian shops do not give receipts), you are viewed as stealing from them. They have a sign at the counter saying if caught shoplifting, they would impose a $400 fine on the spot, which is illegal. It is obvious that they search bags thoroghly in the hope of making a quick $400. Don't become a victim here!This was my experience on 20/1/2023.

It's a very comprehensive market where you can find most amazing and authentic sauces and spices from the whole of Asia. I really like shopping in this supermarket.

An excellent Asian supermarket, probably the best in the area. The range is expansive including hard to find Japanese goods, and the prices are competitive. Their ice cream section is especially good.Some parking underground or on the street if you’re lucky. This is my favourite store!

Mostly pretty good with underground parking. A really wide range with reasonable pricing. The fruit and veg are a tad pricey but they are often a lot tastier and fresh. Only problem is sometimes they try to scam you a bit at the checkout so check receipts!

You can find Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai and some Indonesian grocery products. Prices are ok. There is car parking area inside the building for patrons. Access is from Treacy Street

Careful when you are shopping.They scan extra another what I didn’t buy 4 items.How they scan these when I asked her I just bought only 5 item, her act was really know she said sorry it was previous customer, she exactly know but still total. It’s ridiculous.Please check you slip before you paid.

they will search your bag/shopping trolley without asking permission, which is against the law in Australia, will report them to fair trading, Signage must be clearly displayed at the entrance/s to the shop. Store personnel are only allowed to look in your bag. They are not allowed to touch the contents inside. However, if you are asked to remove an object in your bag so they can see inside properly, you are expected to cooperate

Located near to Westfield Hurtsville so it is convenient for us to shop after 3 hour parking at Westfield is up. There is an underground parking in the building which is free for 2 hours for shoppers at New Yen Yen. Otherwise, there is also a parking lot located close to New Yen Yen. We are spoilt for choice on the expansive variety of Asian groceries found here. You name it, you have it! The fresh vegetable and fruit options are a bit limited though, and doesn't look fresh as well.
