T.Mackney and Sons Tree Services

I've had an opportunity to do some work with T.Mackney & Sons, and I must say I got impressed by their professionalism and the level of skill-set that they possess. What I particularly love about them is the sense of pride that they have for what they do. I've been told that they've been doing the tree work for over three generations. It is nowadays rare to see a business that has been carrying on its legacy and knowledge for such a long time - Highly recommended!

Very poor quality for a top price. Stumps not ground properly (underground where we could not see them), so we are stuck with gardens with huge stumps in them. For $5000 I expected better. We provided easy access but still paid a hug price. Never use this company. It's sad to be so very ripped off.

The tree work is good - but they do not include GST in the quote (which is not in writing) and then prefers cash when you are told how much more is added to the bill. No receipts either. Be wary.

I have used T. Mackney & Sons twice now for some tree problems I had at my property and I am stoked by their work.Last job they did was a lightening struck gumtree (which I loved because my grandfather planted it) that had to be removed because it died as a result of the lightening and became dangerous; I could not believe how quickly their climber arborist went up the tree with no hesitation and with ropes lowered the tree bit by bit quickly and without any damage in a small backyard.When I first spoke with Steve and his father (Tom is his name I believe) it felt like nothing was an issue with them and they were also so knowledgeable, I think these guys are true masters of their trade and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how they go about their work; it was also clear that they take pride in their work because they left my backyard spotless, their machinery also looked very well looked after.Since Steve knew that the gumtree that was removed was very dear to me and my sister he organized another gumtree to be planted in the same spot free of charge and he also cut up and left me some small logs for firewood next to our fire pit.I couldn't recommend them more, I cannot see how anyone else could do a better job and with a smile on their face.

These guys scammed my mother by overcharging for removal of the trees after quoting a lower price. They claimed they found disease in an expensive tree and it would have to be removed. After the job, they were heard by a friend at the local shops bragging about how they were paid to remove a tree that was worth a lot and how they were going to sell it for several thousand dollars. Hard to do that with a diseased tree. Scammers.

the service I received was more than outstanding. They are all very friendly and did even more than I asked for. The left no mess and I would not hesitate in recommending this company.

Tom and his Son Steve,cut down 5 palm trees and a large tree branch for me. They did a great job-professional, punctual and very friendly. Would definitely recommend to use them and i will use them in the future if need be.

I highly recommend this great team of tree surgeons. Laurie and Steve took care of me. No hidden costs, they are very good at what they do. They trimmed my mango and macadamia tree and left the area clean and tidy. Thank you guys.

Tom and his sons, Steve & Matthew arrived on time with all the professional equipment to safely prune and remove dead wood & large branches from a magnolia tree, macadamia nut tree and jacaranda. We're very pleased with the end result and they left our premises so neat and tidy. Thank you all. Will definitely use again & highly recommend their service.
