Been going here for 20 years now. Never disappoint. The uncle is still very friendly.

This place just ain't it.TLDR: overpriced for what they give you.My main qualm with this place is the value (dine in). The pricing seemed acceptable at first, around $16.50 for a dish. But the portions were so small compared to so many other Asian takeaways. My photos make it seem bigger than it was. Payed $9.50 for 6 chicken satay skewers but they were like 10cm long each. Absolute rip off.You can always judge a Thai restaurant by its Pad Thai.No traditional at all. We got what seemed like frozen veges in ours. cauliflower and broccoli don't belong in Pad Thai. And it was too sour. Lime should be optional, not something predetermined.The smallest bowl of rice for $3.50 was also a joke.And the moo yaang (grilled pork) is a definite skip. One piece of pork, grilled horribly and put on a bed of lettuce is not how it's done. Give me a real salad with Thai flavours.Green Curry was decent but again, WAY too small.It's only saving grace is its Pad Siew. That one was actually good and comparable to other restaurants, maybe better. The only caveat is the portion was smaller than its competitors.Our family of 4 legitimately finished the entree and 4 dishes in 12 minutes.

Convenience near the tram stop you know expensive supermarket but you know good for something if you need a drink or something on the way somewhere you know I'm sure they've got other you know it's compact nice cashier

An institution, restaurant with high consistency on doing delicious and affordable food. has been a loyal customer everytime we visit Melbourne. Their special menu is what most of the customer order. Crispy pork with gai lan which you can customise spiciness and eggs. Must try if you are in the area.

Before this , last time I visited this restaurant was 2016 .Actually their food are nice . However , the recent visit found that the portion of the food is really small . Just 2 dishes costs me about $50.I do agree that after Covid , everything become expensive and this maybe the reason for the raising of cost . But their price with this portion of food is really unacceptable . If you want to try budget food , then this one is not suitable for you .Staff are nice. Food are still tasty . I will suggest the restaurant to add some pictures on the menu as I really don’t know what some dishes are .

Nice little takeaway place. Frequent by Thai and local people... A good sign of the quality of the food.

Absolutely amazing food! Best Thai curry I’ve had in a long time. We got the green curry the pad Thai and the basil fried rice. All of it was delicious. Definitely spicy so be warned about that if you have a low spice tolerance. The staff was very friendly and we had a nice chat with the guy taking orders. It was a bit of a wait for our food but when you can see a thai person in the back making your food completely from scratch it’s understandable. And all of it was amazing so well worth the wait!

Zab's has always been a takeaway since their origin in Hawthorn, addicting many Swinburne students. So it's a bit funny how people comments on 'atmosphere'.My absolute favourite is Zab's Pad Ga-Prow which contains a generous amount of bamboo shoots. Their green curry was also great but I've developed coconut milk intolerance in my old age.We live in the West so can only visit when we drive out to the area. When we do we made sure we get at least multiple portions of takeaway to have for lunch and dinner the next day.
