learnt a lot from James and would recommend to anyone having issues with their dogs. It was a lot of changes to be made but he explained the reason behind everything which all made sense and was upfront with us. We decided not to do all of the training, but we are doing a lot of it and it has produced almost instant improvements. He has a lot of skill in reading and assessing dog behaviour

Fantastic experience with James. Train the trainer style training with amazing ongoing support after the initial session. Professional service and James has an abundance of knowledge and skill reading my dog and everything he suggested has changed my dog from a nightmare into a calm companion who I’m not ashamed to take in public anymore. I definitely recommend his service if you want to get serious insight on your dogs behaviour and how to change it for good.

I reached out to James about my puppy, who’s been struggling to settle into our home and struggles with meeting new people James came and did a training session my puppy is now less stressed with meeting new people and a lot less anxious around the house.

James came to our home and spent the afternoon with our family going through training for our Greyhound Moo. We found the training really insightful and reassuring and we will be getting James back to learn more soon! Pawsome Puppies are very contactable which was a point of difference compared to other trainers and provide lifetime support (which you need because you can’t recall every learning from an entire session)!

James was a very nice man, and if you like very strict and harsh training. Then this is the trainer you want.I booked them to have a look at my original dog and our new rescue, to see how they interacted together to make sure the new dog didn't hurt my old with his behaviour. I also asked for tips on how to deal with my rescue dogs barking.He came to our house 8am in the morning and didn't meet the dogs, just asked us to leave them outside. He then proceed to tell us all these rules (Some I agree, some I don't agree at all) and at one point said I can see you're uncomfortable with leaving the dogs outside to bark"

Although we are only a few weeks into our training, our little pup has already become such a gentle, kind and well behaved girl (mostly, she's still a puppy). Alicia was very kind and helpful in organising the appropriate training we'd need. We're very excited to have James back and teach our puppy some more etiquette skills and would recommend Pawsome Puppies to friends & family.

10/10 service. james is very clear when he is explaining on what’s going on and what is needed to be done. James is very lovely and respectful. my dog went from attacking people to as calm as a stoner. 10/10 would recommend

I reached out to James for help with my 1 year old Labrador that I was struggling with reactive mess to other dogs and pulling on the lead. James told me he is different from the rest as he is a behavioural specialist and has 100% success rate. I was hopeful and was prepared to spend the $300. James came to my house where I have my lab and 12 year old Maltese. The dogs were locked outside the entire 3 hours he was at my house. I was extremely disappointed after spending so much money as I was told to put both my dogs in separate crates and leave them there all day and all night unless training for a matter of weeks and to not even walk them. I didn’t get any information on walking as that would have been another session. I felt a little distraught and disheartened afterwards as I didn’t not feel comfortable with that and I reached out to James about it but there was no remorse whatsoever. Definitely not worth the money and in my eyes and many others including other dog trainers is not ethical.
