There were 40 of us in Healesville recently for a charity bike ride and we reached out to The Grand to see if they could accommodate us all for dinner. Adelle and the team at the Grand were fantastic! Not only was the communication in the lead up to our dinner great, but the food and service on the night was spot on. It's pretty unusual for everything to run smoothly when you're serving this many meals at a time, but all meals were hot, portions were very generous and everyone got exactly what they ordered!! Amazing!We definitely have no hesitations in recommending The Grand to anyone that asked. You won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed the meal here , chips were tasty , steak and salad was nice ( salad could have more dressing ) and the atmosphere was great! staff were friendly and smiling so overall a great place will definitely come back

Hotel has a beautiful old charm and the staff is lovely. Food however is awful. Upon leaving I noticed other plates on tables looked inedible like mine. Sorry for the bad review but last nights chef seriously needs to learn how to cook.

Outstanding pub food. My chicken schnitzel was hot and plump with a perfectly seasoned crust. It came loaded with veges. There was a dark lager on tap that tasted like molasses, delicious. They have an extensive desserts menu too for a pub, which my friends enjoyed thoroughly. The dining room has an old world appeal with high ceilings. Cool place, good menu, great food.

Pretty good vibe. We got steaks but they were a bit too dry. Even though we had ordered to make it Medium Rare. Salad had too much of vinegar which sort of created a pungent smell. Fries were good. Salad was a little bland. Mushroom sauce was yummy. But they had weekly specials which I found amazing. Might or might not go back again.

Upon arrival we were told we couldn’t sit in the restaurant area because they didn’t have any tables available for two yet they had plenty of empty tables (unreserved) for four people.We were directed to the bar where we ordered, paid and chose to sit outside in the sun.Our meals were bought out to us but then we had to get back up and go inside anyway to get our cutlery. Seemed like an odd set up, why bring the meals out if you have to go back to get cutlery.Meals were average, chicken parmigiana was lovely chicken breast but with soggy crumb, chips were great, vegetables over cooked.Service average.

We were greeted by very friendly staff on arrival. The dining room is amazing, with a cosy fire going in the fireplace. The food was very nice and generous. The atmosphere was just right.21/6/2023 for dinner.

My food took ages to come out, was doing the polite thing and waiting patiently, but after everyone else I was with had nearly finished eating I went inside to enquire. Turns out my order was mixed up and put under something else. They didn't take into account the price difference between what I actually ordered, and what they'd put in the system. So in the end I paid $36 for a standard parma and pot of Guiness. Oh, and the chips on my parma still had avocado stuck on it from the nacho parma they made initially. So yeah, I'd avoid.
