I have held off writing a review as I have been so disappointed but every time I look at my wedding photos it’s just a reminder of how awful Darin was. When meeting with him, he sold himself to be something he isn’t. We specifically stated that we wanted no posed shots, he said the only posed shots would be portrait family photos. Well this wasn’t the case. Our photos post the ceremony were mostly posed, so much so I couldn’t hold my bouquet a certain way and he cracked it at my husband and I for chatting. We hated the photo experience, he made it awkward and not fun at all. He was also extremely rude to our videographer and didn’t work well with him at all. He also made a comment about the elderly Italian women at the weddinf saying he was surprised they weren’t all wearing black. His bedside manner was completely inappropriate and our photos lacked the style he promised. He was more excited about taking photos of the scenery than us. I cried when I received my photos, which took 4 months. Not to mention, I had to ask for photos after the wedding as we hadn’t received anything for 4 days. I would not recommend having Darin photograph your day. It wasn’t an experience I would have hoped for my wedding day.

Darin was the perfect photographer. We couldn't have hoped for more. The quality of the photos was exceptional, and Darin was so great to work with. Both of us are really nervous and awkward around cameras and Darin made us feel totally at ease (and he made us look great which was a plus!).Would definitely recommend.

Darin's photography is simply beautiful. It's raw and journalistic. Darin was the only photographer we met for our wedding, and we were quickly impressed by his professionalism, fun quirkiness and full-time commitment to photography. He is also very reasonably priced for the quality and service that he delivers.

Darin delivers a fantastic overall service, from the first consultation to the final photo delivery. We shopped around and met with a few other photographers before we met Darin, and he was he first one whose folio really showed what we were after: beautiful candid shots that captured the spirit of the day and caught the little moments from the couples and their guests, as well as great posed photos that feel timeless.Leading up to the day, Darin was absolutely on top of everything, checking in frequently and making sure to get run sheets and photo lists ahead of time. On the day itself he was completely organised and totally professional - and always cheerful, energetic and looking like he was having a great time.Looking at our photos, it's like he was everywhere at once getting shots of everyone and everything, but at the same time it never felt like he was in the way of us or our guests. When he says he gets the little moments, he means it - when we look at the photos it feels like we're looking at every conversation and every dance that our guests had, because he's captured so many perfect split-second shots.(If it helps you make up your mind, we can tell you that some of our friends still use unposed photos he took of them as profile pics on Facebook over a year later.)We were really happy with the early shots that he sent through to send around to our extended families, and we loved the final fully edited set. We went with the full package and we're glad we did - everything we've received has been a perfect way to memorialise our wedding.We'd recommend Darin to anyone. You'll get a great photographer who'll capture everything that makes your wedding special with truly beautiful photos, and an absolute professional operator who'll make the photography side of your wedding hassle-free.

We knew Darin was going to be our wedding photographer before we even met him! Fell in love with his ability to capture candid moments, his street photography style, and brilliant capture of light. On the day he was both everywhere and nowhere. What he's produced for us is beyond beautiful. We can't recommend him enough.
