I have been waiting for a call back to explain the 3k difference between my estimated return and my actual return for over a week. My claim was processed to be paid by cheque instead of a bank deposit as requested. What should have been a simple tax return has turned into an extremely negative experience. I will never use This company again!I still have had no contact!

Very poor service. I engaged Richard Yann of H&R Block to complete my final tax return. I believed this was completed, but am now receiving notices from the ATO. Since this Richard has been difficult to contact and has failed to investigate the matter or provide direction., I will now have to go elsewhere at my cost.

Appalling. Said they'd file our returns - didn't. These are now extremely late and we risk penalties from the ATO. No replies to emails, they don't pick up the phone & their office opening hours are ridiculous (2 days a week!!!). We've now had to find another accountant to help us out at the last minute and at additional expense. Stay well away.

Radhika Kumar did a terrible job and took way too long. She then charged me for an extra session because she couldn't get my return completed on time. I could have got a better return done quicker if I did it myself. 100% do not recommend and I will not be coming back; 1/5 stars.

This may be the worst experience I have ever had with a business of any kind. I have used other H&R block locations and accountants and have had a great experience so expected the same here. However the accountant I used was less than helpful and I could have done a better return myself. On top of this they then charged me double and when trying to get the extra charge refunded were hugely unhelpful and kept lying about calling back to sort out. Many phone calls and a week later still waiting for this to be resolved. Nothing short of an embarrassment.Sorry H&R Block but this branch seems to be letting you down.

Asking for help to this company was the worst decision of the year.This unfortunate experience started with the wrong foot as the person who was meant to call me for my phone appointment forgot to check his agenda, and I would have missed my appointment had I not called them after waiting for over half an hour.Long story short: my assessment has been calculated incorrectly three times (each time with a different result) in two months: the first time by the person who assisted me first; then by his supervisor; and then by the district manager.In between these errors, my case was forwarded to the head office who was meant to lodge an amendment, but because some information was missing on their system this never happened. Until when, not hearing from them for over a month, I called to follow up and was forwarded to the district manager.I am still waiting to have this situation sorted out as the new ATO assessment I just received does not match, once again!, the assessment I was given by the district manager.I am getting quite frustrated and losing trust in your ability to listen to your clients and do your job, which I’ve paid for.So far only a waste of money and time.

We booked an appointment with Evelyn, she was welcoming, friendly and really knowledgable. She worked hard to help us and taught us about what we are doing and how we can do it better as she worked. I would encourage my friends and family to get their tax done by Evelyn and H&R Block Richmond.
