Wigg Plumbing

We have used Wigg several times now. The most recent jobs were replacing the existing plastic water pipes with copper and installing an OzzieKleen septic system. These guys are great.

We employed Wiggs Plumbing to undertake the renovation of our bathroom, however, during the works, we had an unexpected hole put into our brick wall, cut waterpipe, installed toilet seat was not appropriately attached and our bath hob now needs to be re done for the second time. Regrettably, a tap was left on upstairs in the kitchen sink with the plug also left in by a Wigg's employee. As a result of this, water came through to our downstairs electrics and through the ceilings as well as across our upstairs wooden floors. Sadly, after all of the above, we felt that it was best to part ways with Wiggs Plumbers and will never, ever use them again or recommend them. We are however, eternally grateful to the Insurance company who have been amazing.

I have used Wigg Plumbing twice now and both times they have been the kindest, most responsive companies I have ever dealt with. I called them this morning with an emergency leak that was flooding my house and they dispatched a plumber quickly and the problem resolved in a quick and effective way. The lady who answered the phone this morning was super friendly and coolheaded when I was flustered. The attending plumber was also super courteous and efficient. They are definitely worth using, highly recommend!

I highly recommend Wigg Plumbing. My 84yr old Mother who lives alone in her own home, with help from her children, had her solar hot water system fail. It was terminal. We opted to replace it with a new electric unit that better suits her current needs. Wigg were able to schedule her in, take the old system away, install the new unit and arrange the electrical work as well. I was kept informed, the cost was competitive, the work professional and they arrived as expected. Thanks Naomi and team Wigg.

We have used Wigg Plumbing twice now and are very happy with the service and repairs! Both times the repairs were completed on the same day as making the booking. The repairer Sean was quick to diagnose, explained the problem and repairs well, and was prompt in fixing the issue and cleaning up afterwards.

I have used GJ Wigg for over 10 years for all our plumbing needs and have always found them very friendly, reliable, efficient. They always attend quickly, which was important when I had a leaking tap into a cupboard last weekend. They attended within 1/2 an hour. I highly recommend GJ's as a locally owned and operated company.

The plumber who performed the maintenance on the OzziKleen septic system did an excellent job. James is very professional and efficient. He is a great ambassador for Wigg plumbing.

Extremely disappointed with this company. Asked for someone to come out and look at a hammering problem, I clarified on the phone that there would be no charge for this as I had already spent a lot of money on the problem. The person I spoke to on the phone said that there would be no charge to view and quote to repair the problem. Today I received a $100 call out fee for this 'free quote'. When I called to discuss this the lady I spoke to on the phone just kept repeating 'it is a chargeable visit'. I have no intention of paying a call out fee when I was told categorically that there would be no charge when I organised it.Now I need to find another plumber as the problem has come back. Don't be fooled by the nice guy who might come to quote the job. If you don't follow up straight away they still want to make money out of you however they can. Wouldn't trust this business at all. Probably best I received the invoice only days before I was going to call them to book in. A good warning sign NOT to use them.Now it is over a year later and they are sending unsealed letters to my place of employment attempting to embarrass me into paying for what was described as a free quote! - Cassie

Called more than 6 weeks ago for gas regulator leak and faulty hot water system. Was charged just under $300 to have a non-compliant regulator fitted and no resolution for hot water. Re-reported hot water fault to Rinnai who sent these guys out again. Another just under $200 to have my hot water fault confirmed (yes, CONFIRMED, not FIXED)! After paying to have the exact fault I reported be confirmed, I then had to chase them with a couple of phone calls, only to be told they were working on quotes to get the hot water system fixed, but I haven't heard a single thing from them in two weeks!! One call to the top google rated plumber in Darwin had a compliant regulator re-fitted and the whole hot water system fixed in less than 48 hours ...
