My partner and I stayed in one of the cottages to break away for 2 nights. Montville is a beautiful area where there are lots of things to do and see. The idea of the cottages is great for couples but a few things that lets the place down/were disappointing for us:1. toilet wasn’t flushed and had been clogged with toilet paper when we arrived. A big no no. That was an immediate disappointment and didn’t set a good first impression on the place.2. The outdoor deck was covered in leafs and spider webs. This was a shame as we didnt really want to sit on the deck and we are normally always outside/ love sitting outside.3. Although the bedding was clean, the rest of the room was really dusty. Lamp shades, bed side tables and kitchen shelf where the glasses are kept had a layer of dust that I could wipe my finger through and leave a mark.4. Bath robes were stained and probably needs replacing - we didnt want to wear them.5. No room service during stay. Normally at a hotel someone would and make the bed and put down fresh towels and check that there is soap/toilet paper.The above points are all things that we would have expected to be in order from a place that calls itself “luxury”. Luxury is more than styling and a free standing bath tub. Cleanliness is a massive part of that. Those things become far less important if the place isnt cleaned properly, especially at the price you pay.Although they dont advertise that they have any luxury dining onsite, I would highlight this as a missed opportunity for the place. There is a beautiful outdoor deck on the main building with beautiful views. Having a bit more on offer in terms of food & drinks would be hugely beneficial to the place.All in all we have mixed feelings. We would probably have loved the place if it were cleaned properly.

We went there for my wife's birthday and we're only planning for one night, however we loved the location and it was clean modern and what a hotel should be. We loved the mountain views the small kitchen as we had one of the cottages and they were able to fit us in to stay another night which was great. A short drive or walk to Montville. It's hard to find good places in or very close to montiville and this place delivers great accommodation at great value. We have stayed at other hotels in the area and this one has met our approval and we will be going again. There was Laos plenty of tea and coffee and we went to Malaney for a great Chinese takeaway. There is a Woolworths in Malaney and an IGA. There is a small IGA in Montville too. Great location as stated with views towards Mooloolaba and Moreton Island. Thanks again to all the staff making our stay comfortable and to our expectations.

No one to greet us, no answer to phone calls. Room was pre booked. Had to call call centre. Never saw another person while on site. No breakfasts.

Staff ?No Restaurant No food at allDon't know if there in tune with nature but I don't like ants, cockroches, spiders in or just outside my room, in chairs etc, needs a lot of management.Nice view from top balcony.

Good rooms. Nice and freshly renovated. Basic but well appointed. Ground floor had view of the carpark you could peak out over to the ocean below. The staff were delightful. And you can get espresso coffee for breakfast at the bar. You may have to ask.

It's a great stop but poorly run for the bus group I was on. Wine tasting was good but no one to go through what we were drinking or where it came from. More information would of been good and don't expect me to buy your wine after that.
