Moreton Bay Regional Council

Recently at a location where 2 lanes merge into 1, I was forced off the road by an MBRC truck. I had right-of-way according to Qld road rules, but MBRC truck driver purposely sped up & blocked me from merging. I was forced off the road in a very dangerous situation. I took a photo of the reg number & reported it to council. The response I received was absolutely, completely unacceptable. When questioned, the driver stated that I must have been in his blind spot" & he didn't see me. ABSOLUTE TOTAL GARBAGE !!! He was behind me & sped up on purpose. He could clearly see me through the front windscreen of his truck. No further action taken by Council. When I said that council should have monitors fitted in their vehicles which monitor Speed

The driver of a council Ute 346 TVY cut me off on purpose during a merging lane. Started over a car length behind me and purposely sped up to cut me off right at the end of the merging lane.

Rang the council today for some info and was looked after by Kim. What a terrific attitude and great sense of humour she had. She was helpful and excellent customer service. Well done

What an absolute disgrace this Council is! We watched on A Current Affair the lady with the Parakeet where Council have issued her with a notice and potential fine to remove the bird from the property due to arrogant and ignorant neighbours! You should be ashamed of yourselves. Birds are peaceful and the sound of birds in the morning and afternoons are beautiful to hear. This is nature and clearly a women who loves her pet. This lady adores her bird and relies on it for companionship. Maybe this lady should go and get 40 pigeons and chickens. The mess that pigeons make would serve the neighbours right for complaining about some birds chirping! Absolutely disgraceful. It is clear that you are all heartless people in positions that you should not be! Shame on you!

I spoke to Michael re:tree falling down on my fence and another one about to fall. Very helpful and nice to talk to. Put through an urgent request and followed up with an SMS with Request number so I can follow up.. Great work thank you. This is the 3 request I've made in the 8 years I have lived here and all of them have been looked after very well.

Bribie Island needs to have a pet friendly caravan park or camp ground. It would generate so much more income to the area. Very disappointed to see the council doesn't cater for this.

I've called you twice, sent back atleast 4 letters in yhe last few months. You are chasing a woman who has not lived here for atleast 20 months. You are over threatening to have her licence taken off her, and involve debt collectors, over a f@€king parking fine.I am now reporting you to Office of Independent Assessors, as you're obviously completely incompetent.Keep your eyes peeled for this one in the post!
