Scooters Hand Car Wash & Cafe

Please read all of this review of this two bit operation and you will find out exactly why you shouldn’t take your car to this so called car wash!I haven't used this car wash in about 8 years or so because the last time I used them they broke an interior fitting in my car and were completely unwilling to take responsibility for the damage they had done. But after that amount of time I decided to give them another go because I thought that maybe the culture there might have changed. How wrong I was!I was going to go to another car wash that was closed on Saturday and when I drove past Scooters I noticed there was no one in the queue so I rolled in there. Upon leaving my car there which they had started to vacuum immediately I informed them that I would be back in an hour and would have expected that they would have had it finished by the time I got back considering the light workload they had on at the time. Now admittedly I had come back from a big road trip and had taken my car to what I thought may be a professional carwash so I could have the road grime and bugs that I have amassed over the past few weeks removed. When I returned I was hoping to come back to a clean car but they had pretty much stopped after vacuuming because I was not there and prioritised other cars that came in after me. That was just the beginning of it. They said 5 more minutes when I returned however it took them another half hour to finish. Firstly I kept looking at this massive stain on the back of my car that they did not remove during the washing process I asked one of their staff about it and he just waved his arms at me and fobbed me off. So I went and sat down thinking in good faith that the stain left over from bird dropping would be removed. Then I noticed that they used the same solvent that they used to clean my windows to clean the inside which has window tinting. Window tint care instructions all stipulate that solvents not be used in their cleaning as they damage the tinting. But its not as if anyone at Scooter's have ever heard that. Anyway 30 minutes later my car was ready. The first thing I noticed was the bird dropping stain was not removed and I asked the manger why not. He informed me that it was impossible to remove and it was now a permanent feature of my paintwork which was simply not true as I ended up removing it with mentholated spirits and a cloth as soon as I got home. I also informed them of this method of removal and again they rudely fobbed me off. So I had a look around the rest of the car and the bugs on the front of the car and the windscreen were still mostly there. I got into the car and noticed the vacuuming was really half arsed and they had left sand in the carpet under the drivers pedals. I also noticed that the media screen still had fingerprints all over it and the dash had hardly been cleaned at all. The next thing I noticed and the worst thing about the service besides the bad attitude of everyone working there was the smell of a pungent body odour in my car that was not there before I dropped it off. I ended up having to spray my seats down with Glen 20 when I got home to get rid of their body odour from my car. I left angrily and spent the next part of my day re washing the front of the car and removing the stains that Scooter’s a so called professional car wash could not just because they were too lazy to do it themselves. But hey they got my $35 so it was a win for them right?

My first and last visit to this car wash. I wanted to get my car washed and vacuumed. Firstly they needed to inspect my car to see how much they will charge me. Because they were some leaves (it's been raining) in my car they were going to charge extra $10. I told the guy it's unreasonable and he said it's extra work vacuuming the carpets. So I left and had my car cleaned on Pennant Hills Rd next to the BP.

From the beginning they are very open about prices and also do customised packages. I went and met the manager and he provided an excellent opinions. He suggested some requirements which were necessary. They offer a free cup of coffee . They very careful with your car. Overall i had an excellent experience and my car came out looking as new. Will be going there every time

One of the worst hand car wash I’ve ever seen, they charged me 45 dollars and they didn’t wash and do the vacuum properly , what they did just worth 15 dollars. And when I told them I’m ganna leave the bad review they said don’t care whatever you want. It was my first and last time I took my car there

I had a very good first experience at Scooters. My car (Toyota Yaris) is looking bright and shiny at an extremely reasonable price compared to other cash wash facilities around this area. The staff are super courteous and friendly. The $2 cappuccino very decent. Clean and pleasant place to sit and wait. The wait was only about 45 minutes. Very happy customer who will definitely return when the next wash is due.

I brought my car in without booking, and it was extremely dirty inside and out after not being cleaned for many months. The manager provided a good range of options with a discount on one of the services. When I picked the car up it was fantastically clean inside and out, with an excellent polish. Considering the amount of work they had to do and being so busy on the day, I was amazed at the job. The manager was very professional and helpful. I will definitely be coming back

Professional I have been going for years but I am assuming the owner greeted me as normally the service is pretty averaged. The person helped me and was very nice.and professional. Scooters have improved their service and was great to see it more personalised. If this was the owner this is what scooters needs to promote. Thank you

I paid $45 wash and vacuum. They gave the car back to me with a number of dirty spots all over the vehicle exterior. Inside was still left with stains and marks. When pointed out the marks the manager was extremely rude. So I left and had to wipe a lot of the stuff down myself afterwards. This is not a good carwash and they do not know what they are doing. Every single one of them is Indian and they are just plain rude and unprofessional. Do not go there to wash your car.

Several complaints regarding their customer service, the main ones being: 1) Their official website said they opened at 7:30am, Google said 8am I arrived just after 7:30 and sat in my car next to a staff member's car until 8am. No explanation, welcome or apology. 2) When they opened up they spent the first 5-10 minutes chatting and making themseleves coffee before approaching me. 3) They continued to set up all their equipment without starting the wash for another 20 minutes. This meant that the approximately 30 minute wash they mentioned had me waiting for an hour (not counting my pre-8am wait) 4) They took my keys, moved the car and came back with an invoice that specified cost without even asking me what level service I wanted - even though their website and signage indicated that they offered a range of packages at different price points. I had to ask a separate employee three times in three different ways what was included and why they hadn't asked for my input. Each time he said not to worry about it.
