Munchies Cafe
Lovely little cafe shopping the main street of town. The food is really wholesome and home made, think vanilla slices, brownies, muffins, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, lasagna, salads and melts. They'll happily make vegan dishes and have gluten and lactose free options and almond/soy milk options. They serve up fish rivers roasters coffee. Prices are reasonable and there's plenty of on street parking. Interior design is warm, dark-ish and homely. I visited on a really hot day and it was lovely and cool inside. Would recommend.

Seems very different now to pre Covid. Seemed a bit disorganised but the sandwiches were quite OK. Chips nicely cooked but the gravy was a thick glutinous gunk that almost set solid on the chips unfortunately. We used to love the chips and gravy..but no more.

What a little gem! You always know when you have struck gold when the café is buzzing with locals :) Super quick service, the freshest of pan-fried Barra with a great variety of salad and chips, and all at pie and chips prices. This place appears to be either new or under new ownership, and if they keep this up, they'll be hard to beat in Muswellbrook.

Absolutely love this little cafe very friendly staff the service was very quick and nice hot cappuccino in a mug came within minutes I ordered the bacon and eggs which was absolutely beautiful and nice surprise was a slice of tomato with some baby spinach the poached eggs were done perfectly and was pleasantly surprised they were free range great opening time for breakfast at 6 a.m. was a little surprised to see they were closed on weekends would be a nice place for a family breakfast on a Sunday open only Monday to Friday

Fantastic little homestyle cafe, ladies are super friendly and the breakfast was awesome. I had the big brekkie and it was very filling, gods serving of eggs, bacon, sausage and Hash brown. Coffee was delicious.

A country cafe with great food, friendly service and a romantic atmosphere built right on the highway in the centre of Muswellbrook. Parking is best on the road or for the more confident driver in a small car there is parking at the back via a narrow laneway. Best stay on the street. Eat inside, outside or takeaway.
