Worst almond croissant and spinach and cheese pastry I’ve tasted. Croissant was flat and soggy and spinach pastry was made with frozen spinach and heavy on the pepper.Not sure how they got their ‘cairns best almond croissant’ title

Laurent has been doing this for a long time in Cairns and there's one reason why. He's excellent! The guy knows his way around ridiculously tasty and beautifully presented food. No mean feat in Cairns which is notoriously fickle in the hospitality industry with restaurants/eateries closing down daily. He also knows how to hire awesome staff who know how to represent themselves and the products to 5 star standards. Service is always prompt, warm and friendly. It's not just the food leaving a good taste in your mouth, it's every aspect of how this business is run. If you seek yummy goodness that's just a tad indulgent, swing by Frenchie's at Rusty's. They also supply local restaurants, so be sure to ask if it's Frenchie's.

Stumbled across the Frenchie’s at Rusty’s Markets and was pleasantly surprised with the incredible range of pastries and sweets to choose from. Highly recommend the quiches and danishes but I have no doubt everything is amazing!

Go there. It feels good to get some pains au chocolat and croissants in Cairns ☺️

Almond crossaint was yummy. The cherry Danish had a thick layer that was really underbaked, it also had no custard. Peach galette was slightly underbaked also. The lady serving was really nice.

Worst sausage roll and spinach & fetta roll I've ever had from Rustys on the weekend. The spinach and fetta roll had so much pepper in it that it was completely inedible. I suggest whoever is making these pastries has a taste of their own product. Waste of money.

Food is good but... they don't answer their phone, don't call back, don't reply to messages which led me to bus all the way from edmonton to the city to buy macaroons which apparently, they haven't had for a couple of weeks, despite them being all over their website and cover photos. Poor form. Won't be back, regardless of how good it is.

I was at your shop in the cairns markets the other day and handed your staff a $100 note. She tried giving back the incorrect change (over $50 worth). When we confronted that this was the incorrect change, only then did the other attendant pipe up and admit we gave them a $100 note. Proving she knew and didn’t own up to it. UNTRUSTWORTHY.
