Wonderfully equipped new buildings with everything the animals could desire, indoor and outdoor areas, air conditioning ect. the vet clinic has great prices and the staff here are just lovely and are obviously extremely passionate about animal welfare!I also love that you need an appointment in order to see the animals, the staff say the animals are much less stressed without people walking through all day and it has stopped spontaneous adoptions.

Had the most amazing experience with the team and facility at AAPS. Nothing was too much for them and I was perfectly matched with my fur kid. They show true professionalism and not only dedication but love for the animals in their care. Thank you again!!

I've taken my Cavoodle puppy for the very first time for grooming here and the person who did her Grooming did an amazing job, as well as looking after my pupp during the Grooming and after.I highly recommend coming to this Grooming at AAPS!

We adopted our new fur baby when she was 26 weeks old. I can not tell you how brilliantly she has fitted in with our family, our older cat and our house. She is utterly delightful. So loving and affectionate. She's very bright and very happy, and perfectly socialised. We have re-named her from Wicket" to "Cleopatra" due to the dramatic eye make-up. :-) Thank you guys for all the work you put into her. We love her heaps."

Absolutely do not recommend the grooming service. Within the same week a friend and I both had our dogs groomed at AAPS. My cavoodle puppy was picked up totally un-brushed and my sisters dog came home with half of his tail missing hair. I now understand why they had more availability than grooming salons.

In 2017 my cat of almost 15 years passed away and I decided to adopt from 'The Australian Animal Protection Society' and I adopted a beautiful young kitten of 4 months and I named her Jasmine. The staff were wonderful and yes, they did ask me a lot of questions at the time, but I realised they are there to do a job! It isn't about you, it is ALL about the animal and their needs. As a lot of these animals have not had an easy start to life. Also, this is an animal shelter that doesn't rely upon Government assistance. I would like to take this opportunity to wish the volunteers and everyone involved all the very best and success, especially for the new centre.

Thank you to the AAPS for giving me my best friend! They have such a great facility and you can tell all the animals in their care are so well loved. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough, they're a model for what every animal shelter should aspire to be. Whether you're a first time pet owner or an experienced owner, this is where you need to come to adopt an animal.Nigel is 14. Before I adopted him I was provided with a thorough full-page vet report from the staff at the AAPS Vet clinic. He had no history, being a stray cat before he arrived at the shelter, but every medical test available had been administered. Every one of his health issues had been investigated and treated.When I came to pick Nigel up I was given a supply of his medication, as well as some of his food. I had a lot of questions about his medical needs and the staff were happy to answer all of them and really made sure I had all the info I needed. Thank you AAPS!

A wonderful organisation helping animals in need. They have a no kill policy and treat the animals with the most amazing love and care. The facilities are also brand new and include grooming and a vet on site. Highly recommended adopting from here or supporting the shelter in any way you can. The vet clinic in site is also amazing. Staff are also super friendly.
