Chemist Warehouse Manly

The reason when i ask for receipt is so that without my consent the security can't touch my bag. The security guard is rude, wanted to check my personal stuff even though i showed him the receipt where he was questioning on my own stuff. How is it even a policy check after providing the receipt and why would the staff ask if i need one if the guard is forceful to open the bag.

The customer service is terrible and the security guard is very rude and almost borderline criminal. Why on earth would anyone want to steal anything from that store.? Very bad experience overall.

I purchased Optifast soup last week from Manly. It did not occur to me to check the date as it is a chemist and I assumed that they would never sell out of date items and did not keep receipt or packaging(I had placed sachets in container in cupboard ) After reading reviews today I am too scared to take back. Optifast is not cheap and I am following for health reasons. I advise people to check used by dates at this store.

Waited half an hour for a prescription to be filled and was told 15 minutes. There was mums with sick babies waiting for ages and names weren’t being call out when the scripts were ready so people were waiting even longer than necessary. They didn’t really seem to know what they were doing.Went to buy a perfume another time. Had to ask someone to unlock the cabinet and he gave me one to smell and locked the cabinet again? In the end they had testers of perfumes they don’t have and no testers for some of the perfumes they have. He didn’t even have a look in the system or put back to see if they had the perfume that the had a tester for. Don’t waste your time looking for a perfume here unless you know which one you are wanting already.Otherwise they have a good range for skincare and makeup, decent prices too.

Really unhappy with the service at this chemist. I was asking the pharmacist’s advice on how to clean a cut on my sons head and they straight out refused to help me and I still can’t understand why. My son is just learning to walk and fell over and I just wanted to know how best to keep his cut clean and they just wouldn’t help. I said I didn’t understand and they said I’d have to wait 20 minutes with an unhappy baby so he could “explain the process”. Ridiculous. I ended up a few shops down at another chemist and they helped me right away and told me what I needed.

Absolutely ridiculous placed an order at 11.52am paid for express delivery at 4pm no update on my order I phoned the young girl said “oh I’ll do this now “ so it had sat there for 4 hours then at 4.30 was told the chemist had no voltaren ??? That I don’t believe at all. I selected to have the remaining order delivered. At 8pm still waiting called back and was told oh ok I’ll organize that now what do you mean and now oh it’s too late door dash can’t pick it up tonight.I’m sorry ridiculous such bad bad service from Manly

Since moving across to the other side of the Corso, i have found the new store to be a much improved shopping experience. The over-zealous security guards are gone and the staff have been friendly and quite helpful. Great range and price for most items.

I recently encountered the security guard at a chemist wearhouese at Manly and was disappointed by their behavior. They were disrespectful towards a customer, and I witnessed them engaging in unethical behavior. I do not feel safe with this individual as a security presence, and I would not recommend them for any security position.

Worst chemist warehouse! Multiple times now I have used their fast delivery service, placing my order at 9am for 3hr delivery. No updates through the course of the day meaning I’m stuck waiting at home as they won’t leave it unattended, only for the whole thing to not process until the following day! Order was placed at 9:19am 10/6/23 and just had the message it’ll be delivered today at 11:26am 11/6/23 - 26hours after ordering….. great “3hour delivery” right there. And you can’t cancel your order unless you’re fine with still being charged the shipping fee. Sadly you can’t even select which store you want your order to come from they just select the “closest” so I can’t avoid having these disasters occur. Never have I had such poor service from a chemist!

ACCUSING CUSTOMERS OF SHOPLIFTING! My wife and 16 month child were wrongly accused of shoplifting by the staff and the staff were unapologetic and rude. To be clear this was not the security staff but the direct staff of the shop. When we requested to speak to the manager the staff juggled excuses ‘the manager is into the back’ . We will never return to any Chemist a warehouse brand.
