Southern Coast Charters

Did a tour to Lady Julia Percy Island, Barry and the crew were great and provided lots of information to the kids. Highly recommend a trip to LJP island.

I went on this charter for a half day loved it, Barry and Zack were both amazing with helping and teaching everyone. Barry was The slipper and made the whole experience great. Zack was great a couple of the line got tangled and he had them undone very quickly. Definitely going back and recommending it to friends.

Called just over 2 weeks ago to book a half day charter. Offered a deposit which they declined. Was told I would be contacted 3 days before the charter. Heard nothing, I called them 2 days prior only to be told that the charter is now very full. They offered a token effort to see if I could be included. If I was to be added to a very full boat, wouldn’t it be a safety issue? Also, they took my details, why couldn’t they contact me prior to let me know of the situation? Pretty poor service

Wow! What a day out.As charter boats go, these guys are up there with the best.Right from the start Maryann made booking and managing the booking so easy and friendly to deal with.Then when we got there, the boat is amazing, large plenty of room, inside cabin for everyone on board if the weather turns bad. Everything is clean and not dirty like some boats.The fishing equipment is amongst the best you can get, all ready to go.The skipper Barry is one of the nicest skippers I have ever been out with, pleasant and knows his stuff, he worked hard to find fish for us, it started out like a brilliant day, unfortunately we didn't get as many fish as we would like. That’s fishing. The decky Nathan worked his butt off for everyone. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys.There was 8 customers on board and a spread of 8 rods chasing southern blue fin tuna.We will be back.

Great day fishing, will do it again with these guys

Well my husbands long lost fishing buddy from 20 years ago found us and whats a better way to have a reunion than to go fishing!!I booked Southern Coast Charters 3 months in advanced and I was told we will ring you 2 days b4 fishing" I was getting a little worried but like they promised 2 days b4 the trip I got a phone call with all the information and directions.Tonight I had 3 smiling faces return home after a full day reef fishing even the old fishing buddy from NZ loved it.Thank you so much for a fantastic day where my husband and his long lost friend could catch up.Best thing is they can't wait to come out again."
