Since the new owners took over this place is extraordinarily good. Easily the BEST fish and chips we have had in many, many years (and we have tried so many of them in bayside). I reckon they will be winning awards soon! They're struggling to build a solid customer base because of the previous owners so we all need to get behind them.

Open now under new management and not disappointed. Young bloke serving was lovely, great customer service. Will be returning regularly for great fish and chips locally in Carrum

I got the lunch pack for $9.50 - flake, chips, potato cake and dim sim. The flake was really tough, not sure why. Maybe it was a bit old? The chips etc were fine.

5 reasons for you to avoid the shop.1. The chips were very undercooked and stale! It had a rubbery texture.2. 3 of the 4 fish were undercooked (pale and floppy). Not edible!3. Asked for chicken salt, I was told it was already added, it was not.4. Large chips the size of a medium, underportioned.5. When paying, I was charged $47 for a family pack when the price board showed $45, when I questioned the price the man (owner) said the price had gone up due to inflation. I was not aware of this until I saw a hand written note (the size of a business card) stuck face up on the counter, expecting customers to see the price changes. It's a you don't ask

Great grilled fish (crumbed) everything was good except for the potato cakes, frozen variety not home made ,not great.Happy with everything else.

Service was poor, Portion sizes where good for price. Fish was bland with no salt or lemon and found bones, same with the potato cakes ( both tasted sort of old) the chips were pretty good but lack of salt dim sims are great
